OT: Pollard at it again

Like V, I don't believe in coincidence.

List the 3 very best top 3 Players on the Patriots roster.

Pollard has taken all three of them out..

Yes, I fully believe it's possible for a professional NFL player to be smart and quick-reacting enough to hide the fact that they are trying to cause an injury.

EDIT: But there's nothing wrong with what he said here.

Not if you watch it in super duper gooper slow mo, you can clearly see that he was stabbing him in the ankle with an ice pick, and banging his ankle with a baseball bat.:rolleyes:
Yah! Yah! I saw that, too! I thought it was just me!

We all saw it BUT he flashy thinged us with one of those pens from men in black. You do know he is an alien, right.

All of this Pollard hate is unfounded.
Everyone knows he doesn't actually know how to play football. We can't fault him for that.

Yeah, I saw that. Thought it was interested that, after he hit him in the ankle with a baseball bat, he hopped in a steamroller and flattened Gronk's leg then shot some photon torpedoes from rocket launchers attached to his forearm into the crowd.

you had me going until you mentioned the photon torpedoes...

...then you really had me.

Normally wishing injury on someone is frowned upon around here.

In this case.

I hope he gets a really really really bad flu.

Nope. A chop block would suffice nicely. Career ending would be doubly good.

When did a safety saying that his team was going to lay big hits on opponents coming across the middle become something controversial?

Ordinarily I would agree with you. But WHO said it trumps that.

POS needs to have an afternoon tea with Lady Justice and Lady Karma. Hopefully week 1.

But in a game not involving the Pats, I'll settle for at least one undeserved late hit/defenseless receiver penalty as a result of 'open mouth insert foot disease'.

Pollard is a POS. If you look at the clip of him tackling Gronk, very slowly, you can see him cranking on his leg, after he was down, he was trying to injure him.

Homering to the extreme. Nothing wrong with it...quit being paranoid.

Reading the quote, he was hardly 'wishing injury' on the guy. He just said he's going to smack him across the middle.

If he backs his talk p, so he ***** what? I played DB and trash talked on the field a tonne...saying similar things to try and phase a guy...and providing you back your talk up, no one cares.

Pats fans need to stop holding a grudge and quit whining.

Brady's injury was a long time ago...yes he lunged at his knee but it's probably what most would have done. You're paid to get at the QB so you do it. Very few people go out to actually seriously injure someone.

Where did I say he was wishing injury on Green.

I said that I wouldn't wish injury on Pollard.

Apology accepted in advance.

My bad for misreading!

He hurt Vince? I guess I missed a game...

Indeed. I thought it was a shame how Pollard used his super powers to morph into the turf in the Texans game and trap Welker's foot so that his knee bent awkwardly.

Im pretty damn rational when it comes to my Patriots, but not Pollard.

The guy is a headhunter.

The only hit that he's ever put on any one of our guys that can be considered dirty was Brady's. Welker blew his knee out when attempting to make a cut, Pollard never touched him. Gronk's was an unfortunate circumstance that happened when Pollard slid down his waste and landed awkwardly on his foot after being dragged for a number of yards like a ragdoll. If it was Reed that had made that tackle on Gronk, nobody would be calling it dirty. But since it was Pollard, people on this forum have trouble thinking rationally, so it's dirty.
