Who would believe after all the turmoil at the beginning of this season. Losing all but Troy in our receiving corps, injuries etc that we would have come to w/in one game of the big dance. Thank you once again Pats, for giving this fan one hell of a great season of football. I'm proud of all the effort and guts this team played with, they played like the Champs they are.

I agree. This was pretty good for a "rebuilding" year. As far as I am concerned, we were playing on house money after the Charger's game. As disappointed as I am, I'm ready for all the pundits to start doubting us next season, so we can shock the world again.

Great post, classy fan!

That was a great game played by champions. Good luck to the Colts, they earned this one.

i'm sorta glad it was peyton who toppled the pats run for a 4th...he can go onto finally win a superbowl (maybe)...and next year, there wont be so much hype for the pats...all the hype will be goign to peyton...

I also want to add my gratitude for the Pats for GREAT season, the way this team pulled it together after the turmoil at the beginning of the season shows grit, determination, and a great team work.
our team ran out of gas at the end, and we were beaten by a good team, but the future looks bright, our salary cap situation is very good, and we are in a great shape draft wise.

Thank you Pats again for a great season!

All things considered we fans were fortunate to be a part of another deep playoff run,and what a run it was! Remarkable season. Once again,Thank You Patriots.

I'm proud of our boys. They played their hearts out tonight and this season was a great one, despite many obstacles.

I'm proud of our team ... I've never seen a team get younger and still stay in the hunt ever. Barring injuries we will be in the hunt again next year and so it goes. The Patriots have given us more than we ever expected ... there is no shame in losing today .. it's football and a big congratulations to Belichick, Coaches and Players for another season of great fun.

Yup, agree with everyone. Great effort by a team with a lot of handicaps.

I agree. At the beginning I wasnt expecting a 4 points away from the Super Bowl season. And with our OL,DL, and QB strengths and 2 1st round picks we'll be back next year for another run.

And theres always tapes of other days that went our way to get us through the offseason. Thank you Patriots

I never thought they would make it this far. The team has provided three SB rings, and they still have Brady and Belichick. This one hurts, but hey, they can't win every single one.

Congrats to the Colts.

To this ever-changing, incredible team, what a fantastic year. Gassed and and sick in a blue hot-house, so close to pulling it out...hearts of champions. A great season, with better to come.

I am proud of our team....Next season friends

I too am proud of our team. I felt some calls were a bit whack but no excuse. Can't believe some of the bunk storylines they're already building.....really kind of sick and reverse if you ask me but hey "It is what it is." Looking forward to some exciting off-season moves. Biggest wish is to re-sign Asante. Thanks for ANOTHER great season my Pats!

There were a few questionable and non calls but went both ways. Overall refs weren't deciding issue. Bottom line the Pats gave us yet again, another great season. Here's hoping we get another chance next year for Rodney, Troy and maybe even Jr!!!
