OT: Pollard at it again

Pollard is a POS. If you look at the clip of him tackling Gronk, very slowly, you can see him cranking on his leg, after he was down, he was trying to injure him.

I saw that too. It's like he was trying to do it without getting caught. Think we should do a 5 tight end set and aim them straight for him.

Normally wishing injury on someone is frowned upon around here.

In this case.

I hope he gets a really really really bad flu.

He is one person I make an exception for in the "Don't wish ill of others" genre of platitudes.

There are always exceptions to everything in life.

Hopefully he can "catch it" from Gronk, that way we'd be sure of a relapse.

The inmates continue to run the asylum in Baltimore..

1. The tackle on Gronk was nowhere near dirty.

2. If he knocks A.J. Green out, my fantasy team will take a big, hot dump.

When did a safety saying that his team was going to lay big hits on opponents coming across the middle become something controversial?

Hey, I get to try out the new "ignore thread" feature now!

I hope he goes straight to heaven. Today is as good as any other day.

Not if you watch it in super duper gooper slow mo, you can clearly see that he was stabbing him in the ankle with an ice pick, and banging his ankle with a baseball bat.:rolleyes:

I too watched it in super duper slow mo but I also notice Tonya Harding running on the field and hitting Gronk's leg with a bat.;)

Most likely when that safety has a well documented history of dirty plays. If Reed had said it, I'm guessing it's no big deal.

As long as i know myself, i never wished for a player to be injuerd or somthing. but pollard, he's somthing els.

Pollard's an idiot. Now officials will just be watching him with a flag in hand. And then, when a few get thrown, he'll be a typical Raven and cry to the media about how they were playing against the refs out there. He's just sticking to the script.

I don't have an inherent problem with what he said - if just about any other player in the league said it, I wouldn't care. Would seem ill-advised, since refs watch for hits on defenseless receivers so closely nowadays, but that's about it. But since it's him, he can still go to hell.

Yeah, I saw that. Thought it was interested that, after he hit him in the ankle with a baseball bat, he hopped in a steamroller and flattened Gronk's leg then shot some photon torpedoes from rocket launchers attached to his forearm into the crowd.

I think Pollard is a DB of the highest order. And I also think there's nothing wrong with what he said here.
