His drops didn't really have any impact on the game. Let's not scape goat players. The Colts played a better game. I'm just hoping we can bring everyone back.

I think the real question is does anyone remember a wide reciever on this team that could catch the ball?

i.e. Jabar Gaffney, Troy Brown, etc.

How can Caldwell drop so many passes with eyes as big as his?

He deserves to be :bricks:

He really sucked tonight but so did half the defense. We need to get a legit #1 WR because, as proven tonight, Caldwell just doesn't cut it.

His drops had no bearing on the game. We scored the next play after the first one, and he wasn't going to score on the second because Mr. Heads up Brady took an hour and a half to find him.

He had 2 drops that had a major chance for 2 touchdowns.

How can anyone NOT see that????

Yes, his performance was terrible at best.

He absolutely was a factor in losing the game...

huh??? they scored right after on the Gaffney TD. And on the other one, the Colt defender was ready to make the play, a short gain that would have gotten them the same FG.
It didnt cost them a thing.

I know sports fans LOVE to scape goat individuals, but Reche Caldwell didnt cost the Patriots anything today.

Agreed. Enough with the blaming of Caldwell. Yes, he had some drops. One could have been significant. But good teams overcome that stuff. The Colts played awesome tonight, and the Pats couldn't outdo them.

I didn't say that "beamer" was the only one who lost the game... but he WAS a factor.

Yes...

should caldwell have caught those, hell yea!!! but noway it a was difference maker. The colts had there share of dropped balls, 1st drive of the colts ball went right through the rb's (would have been a huge but forced a punt), playing the should-a / would-a card is pointless.

There were many factors that caused this loss... Caldwell wasn't the only one.

Totally agree...

He didn't show up today though.
