they did not step up one iota. The defense up front cost them this game.

They're pretty worn out man, you can't just toss the blame on them. Plus, they're not getting any younger.

The are showing their age. There is no shame in that. We need to get young and fast in the LB core. We lost thats it give credit to the Colts they played to the end.

If we had some sustained drives on offense than maybe our D would have had a chance to keep pace. Trying to lay blame on two of our all time greats is just ignorant.

They played horrible but so did the entire defensive line. However the defensive line is a young group. Bruschi and Vrabel are not. Bruschi, in particular, needs to be replaced ASAP.

This was a game where they needed to step it up a little PLEASE they could not Teddy, retire for yourself and for us.

What 3 SB's in 5 years just not enough? As just a fan of football, I'm happy for you Pats fans, as a rival fan I feel nothing but joy you lost. It's amazing to see the attitudes here, some fans are respectable, but many here think winning is just their right. You need to take a step back and look how much fun football has been for the Pats fans the last few years, because it's only been fun for you, it won't last forever. When it's finally over, you're going to be crushed by division rival fans.

Mon Amie I don't settle for less than victory, Those guys could not help bring it. every other unit helped, on both sides of the ball. It's time to replace these aging longtime friends.

The Dolfan has a point. Winning Super Bowls has been taken for granted by all of us. We had a dynasty and, like all dynasties, it's starting to slip off. It's been a great couple of years and we're very capable of rebuilding during the offseason and going at it again next year.

If I heard 1 Pats player make an excuse like that I'd ***** slap him into next month. I don't give a sh*t about next year!

Don't blame Teddy and Mike....We win and lose as a team....I agree we need to draft a young stud at LB....Like some one to teach the young stud.....

I'm upset just like everyone else here... but, the season is done now.

Sad but true.

That's all I'm sayin, when the Pats lose they lose in the AFC title game, for goodness sakes, it must be horrible to have a chance every year as a fan. Enjoy how good your team is, don't throttle them for losing a well played game and season. How quickly some fans forget being the worst team in the division.

the harsh reality of the offseason is beginning to set in...

whether the loss can be attributed to Vrabel, Bruschi, or the offense not coming up big, I am very thankful that I am not blaming poor officiating

Last year's loss was TOO much to take, at least this year it was decided on the field, even if it was in a painful fashion

Good God I hope you choke on your own vomit in your sleep... did you not see Bruschi slap down a HUGE pass???

effing troll...

BS it's slipping off... eff off... none of us want you here, we have NOT taken this team for granted, how many threads have been posted about how special this team is???

just go to hell, we were all attached to this group, to tell us we took it for granted... just f*** off and die already
