If the colts had won fare and share I would say good for Manning, but the calls and none call's of PI prove once and for all the NFL just wants their golden boy in the Super Bowl. Way to sink to a new low NFL. I for one will not be watching the first one in 15 years that I will not see.

i really don't know what you are refering to...i thought it was a pretty good game for the refs. We were up 21-3 and let them back in. We deserved to lose, plain and simple. Great season but we have some holes to fill.

dont sound like an idiot, had Reche made those 2 catches that he dropped, we would have won. the refs didnt lose that game for us.

shut up..no excuses

we lost. colts are the better team. nuff said.

This was a good game by the refs overall. We lost to the better team tonight, our guys just couldn't go to the well anymore! Worn out it looked to me. If we could have had some sustained drives, it may have made the difference.

The refs did not lose this game for us. It was a combination of them making plays when it counted and us NOT. We had a chance to put these guys away when we were up 21-3, but our own foolishness stopped us from going up and possibly taking a 28-3 half time lead. When we could not get TD's instead of FG's in the ned, it came back to bite us.

That having been said, I will give all credit to the Colts. As much as I desoise that little prick Manning, give him his due.

Congrats to our team for making it this far, when no one expected us to be here. We had our chances to make it even more magical, but was not to be. I am very proud of them for a hell of a year.

Yeah right, Reche's drops had no bearing on the game. On one, we scored on the next play, and on the other he wouldn't have scored anyway because Brady didn't see him til the last second. The 15 yards after the Wayne slant was disgusting. It is pathetic to make that ticky-tack a call at that juncture to change the game so much.

I agree. The only call that seemed wrong to me was the roughing the passer at the end. Gutsy effort by our guys, we just came up short.

Well, the first drop didn't hurt because we scored a TD right after.

Come on man!!! The Colts deserved to win... Stop the whinning!

The Pats had a chance to win the game but they couldn't put it away...PERIOD!

I agree with you Boxer. They played a hell of a game. I thought we went further than I thought we would earlier in the year. I think we just ran out of gas at the end.

the non call on caldwell iin the end zone and the offensive PI call on Troy that negated a drive when the pats would have scored, and just the sheer amount of call on the pats lack there of on the colts.
Look the pats did not do themse;ves any favors with the play calling in the second half, lack of playmaking on D. There are three refs on the side of the feild where Caldwell was knocked down not one made the call that is ridiculas. The colts played there ass off but that dose not mean the reffs (the nfl)are not accountable.

please let's not turn into the whining *****es from San Diego, the better team won fair and square, I thought the Pats had their chances, and after thinking about this, I am not even gonna blame the defense, last week game, their age, the injuries must have taken their toll.

things to do for next season...
1- get younger and more athletic at the LB position.
2- get some WR.
3- get the 1 or 2 seed for God sake...

The non call on Caldwell and the roughing the passer were criminal. But we LOST this game. It's simple, it really is. The D is old and tired and when they go up against an offense who's constantly attacking it was bound to collapse. Maroney showed his inexperienced while our WR's showed their lack of composure. Overall we need to focus on the D during the draft and maybe sign a WR or two.

I love how people come on attacking people and the name calling instead of talking about the facts. It is not whinning it's the truth the non call on reche in the end zone is text book PI ball in the ait contact the wr = PI which in tern cost the pats 4 points. the colts played out of their minds in the second half but it would be nice to play on an even field.

I have to give Dungy credit. His team was coming apart at the seams before the half and doing what they always do in those situations, running go routes and the other teams knows it's coming.

They come out and ran the ball down our throats and we were playing to soft on their receivers.

We then went 3 and out on three suspect calls.

The colts went down and scored again.

The game was lost here because our defense had zero in the tank.

Ellis Hobbs best game as a pro.

I totally agree....I thought we where going pull it out...Colts played better 2nd half.....Wait and see for next year

That's my take on it, too. The guys were out of gas. They were trashed from last week (Phil Sims or Jim Nance mentioned on air that BB said that before tonight's game).

They went on adrenaline, got the early lead then coasted and seemed to lapse into lethargy at the end of the first half. Had they been able to sustain their early dominance all through that first half, they may have been able to convince the Colts they were the better team. The crowd was out of it, totally silent when it went to 21-3. Alas, they could not.

Congrats to the Colts. They played better tonight. And I thought Peyton made a good comeback after what looked to be a very painful hit to his hand (his own fault as he threw his hand into his own player's helmet). He was in pain but never gave in to it.
