If things go well, neither will ever wear a Patriots uniform again.

Guyton earned a spot as a promising UDFA with unknown upside. After several seasons coaches realized that his speed at LB was negated by his inability/unwillingness to make contact. Sorta a major problem for a LB.

As much as I'm not enthused by our backup LB corps, I must admit that Rivera et. al, have uncharted upside. Guyton has proven that even the desperate Phins see no hope for his abilities.

Good health and good luck post NFL, Gary. Hope you've invested prudently.

He was injury waived. No one claimed him so he is on their IR. Probably means they cut him next season.

He flashed so much in his rookie season and in TC going into year two. Then something clicked negatively in his mind, and he starting playing tentative and was always a step slow as a result. Now, he's spiraling into the abyss of guys with great athletic ability and potential that were never able to put it together.

Butler might still not be fully recovered from the concussion suffered w/ Carolina last year.
According to Panthers.com, he was waived w/ an injury settlement. Too bad.

Wilhite didn't have much altitude to fall from. As a 4th round pick, his career here was probably better than should have been expected.
