I like it! Although I believe KC will beat out Denver and win the division.

1. Chiefs
2. Ravens
3. Patriots
4. Texans
5. Broncos
6. Bengals

Bengals @ Patriots
Broncos @ Texans

Broncos @ Chiefs
Patriots @ Ravens

Ravens @ Chiefs

because I'm crazy like that

Last week I went through week by week and tried to predict every game. This is what I came up with.

1 Patriots (14-2)
2 Houston (12-4)
3 Baltimore (11-5)
4 San Diego (10-6)
5 Buffalo (10-6)
6 Steelers (9-7)

Steelers over Ravens
Chargers over Bills

Patriots over Steelers
Texans over Chargers

Patriots over Texans

1. San Diego
2. Patriots
3. Cincinnati (AJ Green + Andy Dalton)
4. Tennessee (Jake Locker emerges)
5. Baltimore (defense on decline)
6. Houston

Bengals over Texans
Titans over Ravens

Pats over Bengals
Chargers over Titans

Pats over Chargers

#1 seed - Patriots
#2 seed - Texans (this can change depending upon what week Schaub goes down)
#3 seed - Ravens
#4 seed - Chiefs
#5 seed - Steelers
#6 seed - wide open

Wild card round
Ravens crush #6 seed
Steelers upset Chiefs

Divisional round
Patriots light up Steelers
Ravens upset Texans

AFCCG
Patriots defeat Ravens in rematch of last season

To be fair, would the steelers beating the chiefs really be an upset? I mean they haven't won a first round playoff game in what...19 years?

1. Ravens (13-3)
2. Patriots (12-4)
3. Titans (11-5)
4. Kansas City (10-6)
5. Texans (11-5)
6. Steelers -or- Chargers at 10-6/9-7

I expect both the Texans and Steelers to start off amazing and look like some of the best in the conference. But then injuries mount as usual for them.

Wildcard
Titans over Steelers/Chargers
Chiefs over Texans

Divisional
Ravens over Chiefs
Patriots over Titans

Championship Game
Patriots over Ravens

Playoffs:
AFC:
1. New England
2. Houston
3. Pittsburgh
4. KC
5. Baltimore
6. Denver

Wild Card Round
Denver over Pittsburgh 23-21
KC over Baltimore 24-17

Divisional Round
New England over Denver 35-20
Houston over KC 27-10

AFC Championship
New England over Houston 34-24

1. New England (13-3)
2. Houston (12-4)
3. Pittsburgh (11-5)
4. Denver (10-6)
5. Baltimore (11-5) - loses tiebreaker to Pittsburgh
6. Kansas City (10-6) - loses tiebreaker to Denver

Wild Card
Pit over KC
Den over Bal - Peyton Manning always seems to beat the Ravens

Divisional
NE over Den - in a game that will scare us to death
Hou over Pit - should be a good game

AFCCG
NE over Hou - 7-10 point spread

Interesting...most have the Texans as the main contender.

I still think it's going to be the usual suspects - Ravens,Steelers

For teh Texans they really need Schaub and AJ to stay healthy.

Now that i think on it. Do you guys think the Texans D is legit with that 1 year turnaround?

They definitely have some talent on all levels but they faced some pretty ****ty offenses last year.

The only legit QBs were Brees - dropped 40 on them, Roethlisberger/Flacco/Ryan and i don't think either of them are that good.

I still think both the Ravens and Steelers have a real chance of taking a significant step back. The Ravens lost the Defensive Player of the Year for the season. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis aren't getting any younger. And the Steelers' defense is old and their improved offensive line is not actually improved with the loss of DeCastro and Mike Adams struggling.

That kind of reminds me of the Patriots are dead talk after 09.

They still have the pieces that make them go and the coaches. I'll be surprised if they take a significant step back.

I'd definitely welcome a new challenger though. I'm tired of them to be honest.

But the Pats did take a step back for a few years and Belichick had to completely rebuild the defense and part of the offense. They didn't fall to 6-10 or anything, but they went from an 16-0 team in 2007 that was one drive away from perfection to 10-6 team that was one and done in the playoffs. That is a significant drop off. And the Pats had Brady to carry the team (the Ravens have Flacco).

The reason why the Pats rebounded was because of Brady and Belichick having the foresight to see how the NFL was changing and drafting two stud TEs. Now the question is whether the Ravens and Steelers have such foresight to adapt their teams. The Steelers have not been drafting well the last few years.

I am not predicting that either the Steelers or Ravens to fall off completely, but like the Patriots either or both can take a several game dip which could make either 9-7. Unlike the Pats, they are in a competitive division.

the ravens defense has not looked good in the preseason, but it is the preseason.

I think the byes are sewn up with neither the texans nor the pats losing a division game with the texans having a much tougher road schedule. the texans will start hot, but they will be staggering once they are done playing 4 out of 5 games on the road, with the last one being in New England.

I'm on the fence on which chronic underachiever to toss into the PO between Buf and Cincy...

Take a look at the final standings over the course of 2000s. The Steelers have been one year out of the playoffs and 2 years in. It's been a cycle that's repeated four times. This year would be a year where they don't make it.
