Jesse "I quit on the route with the game on the line" Holley would be the perfect wide receiver for the NY Jets!

Even for the PS, although he'll probably clear waivers.

I hope he remembers to get a recommendation from Belichick. He may need it to get on the roster at The Sports Authority or Modell's.

Refs suck, oh wait this is supposed to be kneejerk.

Dennard looked decent to good. Ebner, minus one bad play, looked good.

Any word on Demps? I thought he looked good on returns before going down. Hope it isn't anything longterm or he is probably gone.

In what could be the last play of his life in the NFL and he couldn't give it 100%. What a hockey puck.

Jeff Demps said he's OK after getting his leg nicked late #Patriots

Blah blah blah 10char

FWIW although Demps said he's fine Curran says a pronounced limp. His guess ankle or knee.

Cunningham looked pretty solid. I expect he'll make it to the 53.

Francis? He was in on a few, but I'm not sure if he did enough for the 53, but possibly the practice squad.

Brace and Deadrick seemed to be getting some good push against the 1s.

Seriously, though, do you keep Hoyer around for the season at the expense of a player with some long-term potential?

My concern is some of these guys did too much to make it to the PS.

PS Bedard says Demps was taken for x-rays, hopefully just precautionary.

I don't trust Mallett, so I'd definitely keep Hoyer around.

Face it guys, none of us have a clue. We can pretend that what we saw on TV was relevant data to the decision the coaches will make, but we all know deep down that the decision process is based on detail film work that turns up stuff that is beyond the football analytical ability of any of us.

Define long term...Mallett is signed thru 2014 only and he's not ready if Brady goes down this season. I don't know if he will ever be ready to run this offense without making some wholesale changes.

He didn't look great tonight. At one point he was being coached up by the big guy. This is going to be a real roster squeeze.

hogwash...I, Joe Kerr, the Antithetical Mel Kiper, hereby declare Jesse Holley a bona fide casualty of that menacing lurking guy in a turban wielding a scimitar...

Mallet and Hoyer can run the offense if the primary passing play is a dump off to a running back or a five yard pass to a tight end on 3d and 15....

Yup, that and reams of practice film and assessments. And roster needs vs. wants.
