Tonight's will not be meaningless for those trying to win the last roster spots and those trying to catch on with another team.

At least five positions that are of interest are at LB, RB, DB, C, and TE.

Who do you see on the bubble?

I'll have an eye on Silvestro and Ebert. This team needs to develop young talent.

I would add a mini one at DE, where Francis and Scott might be vying for one spot. Otherwise I agree with you.

We also could potentially see a narrowing of the depth chart between Mallett and Hoyer, if Mallett has another decent game.

I've been wondering that. We know Belichick likes to play his starters into at least the second quarter of these final preseason games but what will be more interesting is who comes out after Brady at QB and if Hoyer gets time.

I would love us to be able to carry two QBs as it's a very welcome freed roster spot where we can build depth in other key areas.

Obviously I'm rooting for Ebert too ;)

I'll be interested to see more Ebner and Demps. Also curious on Rivera versus Tarpinian.

I'm looking more at individual players than positions.

Ebert
Dennard
Demps
Cannon
Ebner
Cunningham
Bequette

Wonder if we'll see Brady and the first team offense out there. IIRC, last time they struggled bigtime in the 3rd preseason game they had to play the 4th game.

Ryan Mallett - Progressively better in each preseason game thus far. You can't be the heir to Tom Brady if you're behind Brian Hoyer. The opportunity is there for the taking...go get it!

I am curious as to who will be returning punts and kicks. I don't know if they have really found there guy yet. Hopefully Demps wins the job. I don't want to see McCourty or Welker doing these jobs during the season and would like someone a bit more dynamic the Edleman, although I think he will be the one that ends up with it.

I am watching quite a few things tonight. The pass rushers come to mind first. You usually only have two on the field, so having five on the roster seems excessive. Next is corner. Sterling Moore is definitely not safe so far. He consistently gets beat deep. Even if he survives the initial cut down, I wouldn't be surprised if someone off the waiver wire pushes him out. Then theres the backup linebackers who kind of all had bad outings. So lets see who sticks if any. Lastly, tyler urban, silvestro, bolden, and kettani have all looked decent and I want to see if they force their way onto the roster.
