hey...nice pic of my ex-wife ,AQ...

"Dante Scarnecchia, Defensive Line Coach." This even though Criqui was mentioning Scarnecchia to point out the adjustments the O-Line had made.

That's O.K. - the league isn't much better. Donte Stallworth's drop got charged to Matthew Slater in the official stat sheets. Speaking of which, those were released nearly an hour after the game instead of within 2-5 minutes like they normally are. I thought it was because they were correcting that (among other) errors, but apparently not

Criqui would rather drink than do his homework on the names of the players....

Perhaps Stallworth doctored the stats to help his chances of making the team.

BB in a sleep-deprived haze this morning evaluating personnel: "Who had that godawful drop in the fourth quarter? Let me see the report ... Oh yeah, Slater. At least he's not on the bubble like Stallworth."

The names confusion is grating for sure. But I could take that if they could master the art of not getting so caught up in blathering to fill time that they are incapable of breaking off and actually calling a play. Criqui does sound like he's half in the wrapper much of the time even when he's just trying to flush out their idiotic talking points. Hard to believe these clowns get to watch practice and get production meetings with all the central characters. Bill probably likes having them call games as there is little an enemy could elicit from their input beyond watching a game on mute.

"Alright, Mangold.... make sure to watch some film on their new Rookie Dante Mallett... he played Rugby, you know."

I love Criqui and Cross. They're like an unintentional comedy team. One of my favorite parts of the preseason.

Agreed. I rarely watch preseason games in full but I couldn't turn my feed off just waiting to hear what came next.

Thanks to them I got to see Demps at the end

So true - when the Bucs were driving for their first TD, Criqui and Cross were blabbering on while the refs threw a flag and marched off 15yds against the Pats. Then Criqui, just before the next play starts, says - ah, personal foul on the Patriots - without any explanation. Most fans were probably like us shouting at the TV - what happened? Why are you talking about this week's practice? Can't you see the refs?

It was like they actually weren't looking at the field.

I ROFL'd when they said "It's a hitters league" ... Really? I thought it was touch.

The NFLN is re-broadcasting the game on Sunday at 1pm. I'm praying that it uses the Pats' feed,
so I can hear all of their HOF-worthy commentary for myself.

d%#*!@t, Chris Myers (who said "Gost-o-kowski" on the opening KO) & John Lynch are on the call.
