Is the game being shown on TV in RI? I did some googling but I can't find it.

I have Cox.

I see that the CBS station in Providence is showing preseason football. I assume it's the Pats game.

CBS is showing Bears/Giants nationally (except for Boston, Atlanta, Columbus, Miami and few others)

Pats broadcast will be on the following channels

WBZ 4 (CBS; Boston)
WMUR 9 (ABC; Manchester NH)
WTNH 8 (ABC; New Haven CT)
WNAC 64.2 (MyTV; Providence)*
*Cox 811; FiOS 14
WWLP 22 (NBC; Springfield MA)
WMTW 8 (ABC; Portland ME)
WFVX 22 (FOX; Bangor ME)
WVNY 22 (ABC; Burlington VT)
KFVE 5 (MyTV; Honolulu)

But when I was looking at the Pats coverage it showed the Bucs coverage, sad really. The Tampa CBS is showing the game on Tape Delay and opting to show Bears/Giants live.

What's up with all of these Honolulu broadcasts?

What the heck is 64.2?

What the heck is 64.2?

That's an over-the-air channel.

But it's the myRITV (MyTV) channel

Verizon 14 (SD) or 514 (HD)
Cox 811 (SD) or 1015 (HD)
Comcast 292 (SD) or 820 (HD, some areas)
Full Channel 191
Charter 113

This thread has quickly strayed OT.

It's the over the air (antenna) designation or raw cable feed minus cable box designator your digital (hopefully!) TV sees and labels it.

The secondary should be interesting. Ras-IR pretty much played the entire game against the Eagles, didn't get hurt, and didn't look remotely out of place. Gregory looks as if his experience will be able to help settle down the puppies back there, and tonight could be a good test of this if Chung can't play and Wilson takes his place.

I wonder how much time Dennard will get.

The following are not expected to be playing tonight:

OT Sebastian Vollmer
OT Matt Kopa
TE Visanthe Shiancoe
WR Wes Welker
WR Jabar Gaffney

DL Gerard Warren
LB Tracy White
DB Patrick Ching
DB Will Allen
DB Ross Ventrone

Plus of course those still on PUP, NFI, DNR: Brian Waters, Jake Ballard, Markus Zusevics, and Myron Pryor.

Nice. We get to see Cannon struggle mightily at RT again.

Does Adrian Clayborn line up on that side, or opposite Solder? For whichever (or perhaps both), he'll provide some very good competition.

I believe Clayborn lines up over the LT, but I could be wrong.

Jake Ballard ...

Man, sure does seem like this guy has been injured his entire time with the Patriots so far.. ;)

And Im especially interested in seeing how Jeff Demps fairs with a strong secondary interest (ha) in Tavon Wilson. -I still drink enough of the Belichick kool-aid that Im always especially hopeful the Great Hoodie's draft "reaches" will once and for all prove his evil genius to all the second-guessers.

Demps returns a kick off for a TD tonight.

All this crap about trading Welker made me think that the Patriots are just platooning receivers in this three games in ten days schedule. Branch game one - Lloyd, Stallworth and one of the tight ends tonight, and Welker, Gaffney and the other tight end on Wednesday against the Giants. They all get some PT and nobody gets a look at the whole group at work as a unit.

All the running backs are active tonight. That is probably the most significant group offensively to watch. We'll get a feel for the FBs and how they fit in, if at all. I'd love to see Larsen or Kettani play an important role. Serious fullback blocking presence is something we needed in the AFCC and the SB last year. I can still see no FBs on the 53.
