Peyton Manning struggling with throws to right side?

Not to mention that for the first time in forever,Peyton has some decent talent behind him running the Ball....not since Faulk left in 1999 has Peyton had any reliable backs to ease the burden of the whole offense.

Edgerrin James wasn't reliable?? The guy is the Colts all-time leading rusher. Other than the one season he got hurt, I'm pretty sure he was pretty dependable in the backfield.

Yes, every season except for the one he got hurt and the one after it he was over 1000 yards on the ground and in one of those years he was 11 yards short of 1000 and played 14 games

Peyton regarding his pre-season INT's: "Every interception has its own story."

Translation: "Wasn't my fault."

Glad to see nothing has changed. Just two preseason games in and his receivers are already under the bus.

So Clayton is saying that Goober fundamentally throws differently depending on the direction of the pass? Don't non-Favre QBs just shift their feet so that all throws are essentially straight?

Seems to me that Goober gets into trouble when he can't get on top of his throws. Don't know if it is grip strength or release angle, but the ball has a distinct wobble if there is any kind of launch angle. If he can't correct that, the situation will be exponentially worse in colder/heavier air and any kind of wind.

After their bye (starting around Halloween), the Broncos face:
@CIN
@CAR
SD
@KC
TB
@OAK
@BAL
CLE
KC

All outdoor games with only Charlotte being relatively weather neutral. The schedule doesn't look that difficult, but that changes if Goober degenerates into a dink-n-dunk passer.

James was good,but personally I never liked him but still anyone was a downgrade to Faulk

At his age Peyton needs some help behind him,I think Denver's backs can compliment him.

You did not argue that Faulk was the best RB Manning ever played with. That would have been correct.

You argued that the only reliable RB Manning had played with was Faulk. That was insane.

So, everybody loads up the DBs on Manning's left leaving one guy - a strong safety, probably, to patrol Manning's right....like it's Big Papi at the plate.

Then you load up the blitzers on Manning's right and send the house at him so there's all sorts of chaos coming from what will be his blind side because he's looking left the whole time.

If the Broncos had a guy like Tim Tebow, they could run the wildcat at you and that would,... what? The Broncos traded Tebow? To who? The Jets? What are they gonna do with him?

The AFC West is a hugely flawed but fascinating division. Norv playing not to lose in San Diego, Manning only capable of throwing to half the field in Denver, new system with Carson Palmer in Oakland and their unusual bag of distractions, and old friends Matt Cassell and Romeo Crenell in KC. I like KC a lot.

(And to the previous post, Edgerrin James was the best back to ever play with Peyton Manning.)

The Broncos have a strong running game, a good OL and a more than handy defense. Much like the Steelers, it's always unwise to write off Peyton Manning. He and the Broncos will be fine.

Uh, excuse me. Ausbacker? Could you stand over here? To the left? So Peyton can see you when you say such nice things? Peyton has a hard time looking to his right with his stiff neck, and all. Thank you. That's much better. Yes, much better.

Manning Island.

If you put Tebow on the field in the Wildcat with Peyton then the defense wouldn't know which island was about to get the business. I'm sure **** Lebeau would be confused.

I got it!!!

Manning can't throw to his right...Sanchez can't throw to his left...take a chainsaw and cut both of them down the middle...then superglue half a Manning to the other half a Sanchez...now all you got to do is play the right Manchez with the right team...it's simple really...

Don't worry I know all about it goheels. I'm hoping for many more additions to manningface.com this season.

Manning wonders why his receivers didn't run left.

Just put manning's brain in sanchez's body. Then put sanchez's head in manning's body and give that abomination to the Jets. Probably still as good as Tebow.

Denver has a bad OL and a mediocre run game, the run game was good last year because of Tebow, and the OL had many worts hidden by the fact that they didn't pass and Tebow was mobile, look at when Orton was QB, they have a terrible OL.

The Broncos collectively rushed for just under 2,000 yards when you remove Tebow's numbers. You may want to re-think your comment. McGahee alone rushed for nearly 1,200 yards.

All I know is Denver defense sucks, and it will be exposed even more this year.
