Fears said that Demps is the fastest player he’s coached in his 37 years in the game (22 in the NFL).
Demps report was short on details. I hope future updates on Demps dwarf this short summary. The tiny details are important to us fans who feel shortchanged on information from closed camp.

I noticed the report said that Demps was 5 pounds lighter than his playing wieght at Florida. That got my notice, especially because he is so small to start with. I'm not sure Demps can last 16 games even with the 5 extra pounds.
He is going to physically wear down a lot quicker than the other rookies, but hopefully catch a second wind in time for a deep playoff run.

I'm not sure this will make a difference in his wearing down. In fact I would think a 350 lb lineman would be more likely to wear down as a rookie, going from the shorter college schedule to the gruelling NFL schedule carrying around all that extra weight.
The Olympics quest for pure speed screwed him here. Now it's too late to "pump himself up" for the season.
He's not an every down player and not even THE 3rd down back.
Surviving kickoffs is a legit concern
