I just thought it might be interesting to have a thread allowing people to talk about bubble players that they'd cut/keep based upon this past game, with the understanding that such opinions could change at any moment. I'll get the ball rolling:

We'll try to sign you to the practice squad if you clear waivers, Mr. Bolden.

I'll play along. Cunningham how you feel about starting over Ninko for the season?

Thanks, Mike. You were right about Ebner.

the horse in the stall ain't worth a damn...

Belichick couldn't put together enough depth to beat the eagles with 2nd and 3rd stringers. Fire him.

Gronk should've done a much better job on the sidelines tonight, cut em:cool:

B&B Brace and Branch on the roster

Deion Branch >>>>>>> Donte Stallworth

I don't think you understand what kneejerk reactions are, because that's a fact, always has been, and always will be.

I have to disagree with the idea Bolden hurt his chances of making the team tonight. God only knows how many injuries we'll have to suffer before we ever see a 225 pound power back who also doubles as our fullback serve as our punt returner. That was typical Belichick "let's throw these guys in as many uncomfortable positions as possible" in a game that means nothing.

Bolden did his job of running hard and making an excellent tackle on punt coverage, a role he's going to be filling if he makes the team, unlike punt returns. I like his chances of making the team considering we don't have anything remotely resembling a power back behind Ridley, and Bolden's ability to contribute on special teams makes him worthy of being kept around as a backup.

My one knee jerk reaction, would be that Marcus Cannon is a guard and not a tackle and that we need some veteran insurance ASAP. He looked like Wayne Hunter out there tonight, and struggled against the Saints and according to reports, in camp as well.

While a lot of people seem worried about Solder, my concerns are more about our depth behind Solder and Vollmer (not exactly the picture of perfect health). Cannon doesn't look ready to step in if something happens, and the rest of the tackles we currently have under contract aren't worthy of even making the roster.

Brady wasn't on the sidelines? Done for the year.

These RBs through 2 games haven't convinced me BJGE was just some system RB.

Chandler Jones didn't get into the backfield in two series? BUST.

Alex Silvestro should take Hernandez's spot.

Lost to the Eagles playing without their starting QB? Fire Belichick and McDaniels NOW!

I thought it was that teams have already figured him out.

I'm framing my kneejerk reactions like memes. That's too many characters.
