Hoping Vollmer isn't too rusty and gets to play vs Tampa. He needs a couple of games under his belt for the opener. Cannon is bad. Move him inside to be backup guard ASAP.

Looks like Branch keeps his job if he continues performing like tonite.

EBNER !! He had a good week in practice with some picks and it carried on into this game. Nice to see him hustling.

Moore is 'down' due to not having any safety help and allowing a longer pass to one of the fastest WR's in all of football in one-on-one coverage?

I'd hate to see someone actually have a horrible game in your opinion.

Cunningham is a definite riser.

I really thought Branch was getting cut but now I don't know anymore.

Can they coach Ebner up to pay SS in the box? Chung's got a wonky shoulder and probably won't be 100% week 1.

To my eyes, Moore has regressed.

Chung think's he's Rodney

Supafly - has Moore broken up even one pass this preseason? I don't think he has.

Mallet was definitely a bright spot today.

I respect your opinion, but I kind of expect some different reasoning.

According to the beat writers he has "made the most plays out of any DB...by far." (exact quote from Bedard) Reiss has also praised him multiple times and even went as far to suggest that he may beat out Dowling for the #3 role (which won't happen).

One play vs DeSean Jackson is kind of interesting logic. Is there more to it in your eyes?

Moore gave up an underthrown long ball to DeSean Jackson on a play that took about 10 seconds to develop because there was no pass rush. Add in no safety help......

Tough to blame him for that!

Bauer you've got to be kidding.

Exactly the opposite is true. He had all that time to break up the pass and didn't.

Apparently you're in the minority here, QB.

Mallet was definitely a bright spot today.

I personally wouldn't go as far to suggest that Mallett should be moving up in the rankings, as some have said. I would praise him for showing progress.

I would have to imagine that last year was pretty much wasted in TC for a rookie QB in this system.

I think we will need another full offseason and TC to properly observe Mallett for what he truly may/may not be.

Let's see if Moore moves up or down the depth chart after that performance.

Aww yeah Ebner. Around when did Wilson first play, if at all? Or rather, what's the safety depth chart looking like?
