Ebner and Demps seem to have taken the place of Denard, Bolden and Francis.

I liked Ebner before it was cool

Would you rather see one of the Three Stooges instead?

Josh Barrett
James Ihedigbo
Sergio Brown

I expect one of three to make the team, even if Ebner makes the 53.

I really rooted for danerd to make the team. i'd rather having him playing S than seeing those ^ three stooges play for us.

Josh "What have I done" Barrett

James " Pop my shoulder back in" Ihedigbo

Sergio " Penalty is my specialty" Brown

Iseriously wouldn't lose any sleep if none made the final 53. :rocker:

I would rather see Jeff Demps on the 53 man roster than one of the Three Stooges.

Besides, Nate Ebner can single handedly take on the NY Jets offense, no problem whatsoever.

Ebner because I love it when they go that far outside the box. this could be Stephen Neal all over again.

T. Wilson because of the unwarranted hate he got from many Patriot fans who treasure Kiper and deride Belichick for draft acumen.

Basically this whole draft, I loved the Jones, Hightower, and Bequette picks and really like the rest. Bequette could turn out to be a real find, I really believe that Saban told Belichick that Bequette was a major pain in the @ss with a great motor and real love of football.

B. Bolden, every time they find a good RB without using a pick it's a really good thing. Bolden may not clear waivers, hopefully they find a way to keep him.

Demps, the newest addition but freaky upside. Gambreaker.

I wonder if a Denard would clear waivers.

If he had showed sonething in camp and pre-season that could be a concern, but given that the entire league passed on him and that he has legal problems still pending it is unlikely that any team would use a roster spot on him. If he cleared i think the Patriots would have the inside advantage and he would sign with them because they used a pick when no other team would, however I think defense rules was right and it will probably be IR for Dennard.

Heh same here....i kind of liked Ihedigbo because he filled a role when we needed it and he played through pain.

Credit to him for that.

I don't get the hate for the special teamer forced to play injured and played like a hurt special teamer.

Barrett and Brown lack an excuse, though.

I don't dislike Ihedigbo, he's tough and he's a good ST player, but he's not a safety and they are getting so deep on their ST units that it is getting harder and harder for these guys to stay around. Good players who we like are going to get cut, there's no way around that, this team is really really deep.

Jeremy Ebert since I gave him props pre draft. Actually called the pick in the 7th during the draft thread.

Hoping he at least makes the practice squad so we can see him in the slot in the future.

Loved the Ebner pick. My binkie.
And props to Ihedigbo whom I like playing backup last season while hurt. That said I sincerely hope that he and far more so Brown are not on the upgraded 2012 53 man squad.

Ihedigbo isn't a safety and a player who played 3 games at safety at college is an nil safety?

I love Ebert and Ebner, and I hope both will be come immediate impact players.....on the PS. IMHO that's the best place for both for this coming season. Both for the Pats, and for both's future development.

It's a what you can do this season league, especially this team.

Once you're initially signed it's how you do on the field. Ebner is having a great camp at safety. BB knows Heddy's upside. :(

BB has no problem putting UDFAs on the 53. As we can see from 2 other threads, Ebner's upside exceeds Suni Williams' on the ISS.

Ebert to PS
