How about total games?

You have that stat?

I've seen it before it while it's on the high end it's not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.

He is so important to this offense. He does everything, and he does it well. He's come up big in so many situations. You don't have to appreciate the guy, but I sure do.

Let's see...
  • BB loves the guy (read every transcript)
  • Best hands on the team -- bar none
  • Versatile
  • One of the team MVPs
  • A true football player
  • One of my all-time favorite Pats
And no one can change my mind :)

...like many people on this forum, I also have to cross my fingers when he gets the ball/is thrown to.

I do hope that he does have a good game. I'm all for it. No disagreement there.

I just get an uneasy stomach when he is around the ball.

Bottom line.

Uhmmm... NO.
Uhh yes, you ought to.

Here is ESPNs stats on his fumbles. 11 career fumbles. 8 of them lost.

6 total regular season fumbles since 2001.

Corey has fumbled 17 times since 2001.

I am not hating on Corey because he is a great player and one of my favorite Pats. My point is, Corey is praised as someone who rarely fumbles. Faulk is always hated on because he fumbles a lot but he doesnt. So please just shut up.

Kevin is a very valuable part of this team. He is a great player. Not a fantastic running back but he is great all around.

Oh and here is something interesting on Faulk...

He is tied for 3rd most receptions on the team this year with Troy at 43. Both behind Watson (49) and Caldwell (61).

And better than that, he is just behind Troy Brown as the current Patriot with most career receptions. He has 276 career receptions.

I hear ya. I get that same uneasy feeling when Brady's about to be hit from the blind side -- where's the ball?
I get that same feeling when Watson catches a football.

Anyone questioning Faulk's value should go back and watch the 3GTG videos. This guy doesn't carry the load like Brady or Corey, but he's a big contributor and has made some big plays and provided nice runs.

I expect to see a lot of Faulk too in the Colts game. I think he might be the best third down back in football. He also tied the game with that 2 point converstion in SD that really did give us the chance to win. I think the screen to Faulk is the pats best offense play. I just think people are to hard on him, and should appreciate how valuable he is to this team.

I do too, the nature of the cover two forces the LBs to drop deep and in some cases they give up the underneath stuff. If we are patient short passes to the backs or a late releasing TE should be there for 4-7 yards a pop, and with a missed tackle maybe even more. The 3 WR set with Faulk in the backfield was used a lot against SD, it will be interesting to see what the Pats use tomorrow. I am convinced we will be able to score points, a little nervous about slowing down their offense.

Where is that Kool-aid? I need another shot......

I agree, he has such quick cuts, a perfect complement to our running game! A real team guy!

Your right Faulk is awesome he can really change the pace of our offense. I think cow gorl mike have some personal problems on disliking Faulk. She hasnt said anything to convincing on why the hatred is so high. Hes a big reason why we are here.

I will admit, he did play fairly well in the last game, but count me in as a Kevin Faulk "hater".

I can't stand him.

Last years playoff game against the brokebacks didn't help his cause any either.

I'm happy that he didn't have another brain fart and fumble it like he has done so many times.

In fact, I'm all for him playing a great game.

Actually he has played well all season.
