Sorry to be a spoilsport, but for safety reasons please DON'T publish this info in this public forum! The teams don't release it for a reason.

Friend once had an "in" with the Pats (no longer employed there) who tipped him off on Pats hotels. The old USENET Patriots Mailing List crew had access to this G2 for road trips. Mrs Bruschi, et. al. would get rooms at the hotel. Remember 2002 at the Marriot SD that Pats players would be besieged by autograph hunters, folks clearly in the bu$ine$$. Pats Mailing List crew would sit and chat with players and families in the lounge and sometimes let their families share our game bus. Some players were easily accessible while TFB would sneak by and jump into a convertable with Tara Reid.

They are good with security.

It was easier to track Bin Laden than the Patriots.

this smells like jock sniffing.....

The stadium is close to the airport.

There are a two or three prime candidates for hotels in that immediate vicinity.

Which one it is I don't know, but if you're in the area it probably won't be that difficult to figure out.

Ahhhhh

good info:D

Not interested in their hotel info so much, but I do plan on eating at the restaurants up by the airport a few days next week...

As someone that used to live in Tampa, I'd guess it's one of the 3 or 4 nicer hotels around the intersection of Dale Mabry & Westshore. Convenient to the stadium and the airport both.

Plenty to do around there the night before the game too!

Especially with Pfan from Pitt stalking them.

Fruitcake.

LOL! A few years ago I was trying to find out this info and my son said I should call the Patriots and ask. After I tried everything and still couldn't find out I thought what the heck and called the Patriots. Asked for the person in charger of travel and BINGO.. She told me where they were staying. When we traveled to the game we stayed at the same hotel they were at.

Is there a nice Marriot in the area?? (hint, Hint)

But let me warn you, the team is a classless organization to their fans at hotels.

Thanks. I had the same thought but didn't want to come across like a spoilsport. The team's location is as private as possible for obvious reasons.

It's not fans on this board who would be a problem. But there are lots of whackos out there who don't have the IQ to figure out where they are located, but who could be nuisances or worse if someone told them.

...

given everything else we know about the Krafts and this team, I doubt very much that they are "classless" to their fans at hotels or anywhere. They are, however, no doubt, very wary of people who would fall into one or more of these categories:

-Whackos with a thing for celebrities in general or the patriots in particular
-People looking for 15 minutes of fame or a quick settlement by claiming that a patriot "pushed" them or otherwise harmed or inconvenienced them
-Professional autograph collectors who disguise themselves as fans (and sometimes use kids as bait)
-Emotionally unstable fans who have far too much invested in their feelings for the patriots and who think they are "friends" with them and are owed ten minutes or more their time because they support them or buy a ticket to a game
-Drunken opposing fans who are otherwise sane but who have had a few and want to get "in the face" of someone they know can't push back
-Internet "media" who want to record something one of them says that is inappropriate or off color
-Etc., etc.

Maybe it comes from living in NYC, but that's what celebs here have to deal with all the time. A player or celebrity gets only a split second to make a decision about the person approaching him in the lobby or on the street; they're often going to make that in favor of a polite brushoff. They aren't all as wealthy as Brady and Bundchen who can afford to have a couple of beefy guys with them when they go out together.

so, yeah, unless they know an individual or group of individuals as "fans" or friends, they're going to keep most people at a distance and I guess that could come across as "classless."

Perhaps the pre-season would be a little more relaxed.

The goal is to get a TB bobblehead signed.

When this team travels even in pre season it's a business trip with multiple goals like getting better, bonding as a team, so don't be disappointed when he has alternate goals, including avoiding adults looking to get their collectibles signed.
