What do you think? When TB retires do you think he'll stick with the Pats as a coach (maybe LB?), join the media in some way (I think he's expressed interest in the past), or just retire and disappear?

Take Michael Irvin's spot on ESPN? :)

We can only hope. Although a deaf, ******ed monkey could provide more insight than Irvin. Could probably speal better too.:D

Maybe he'll become a linebackers coach for the Pats?

Mabey he could replace Shannon "hooked on phonics" sharpe on the NFL Today!

I read some place that he would like to return to ASU to coach. Like all rumors surrounding the Pats I take it with a grain of salt because 99.9% of them are just fact-less rumors. If Weis can make me root for ND, who I'll hate again when he leaves, I'll surely be a huge ASU fan if Tedy goes there, same if Vrabel ever returns to OSU to coach, and I hate them so, but I'd root for him to do well after how much joy they have all brought us.

Maybe its just me but this thread bothers me, sorry. Let's just talk about Indy.

If/When Tedy retires, I hope that the Pats offer him a coaching spot with this team. Especially with how tough it is for players to learn the ILB position. Any help/insight that Tedy can give will make the transition that much easier.

Maybe he'll get into biogenetics and save millions of people, like he did with New England Patriots fans!

In the off season he's been compiling the life work of the world's top theoretical physicists regarding time travel. Upon retirement he will take these theories and turn them into science FACT and bend space and time, this will take roughly 2 weeks.

After he accomplishes this he will travel back in time and purchase the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics (not the New England Revulution, Mr. Bruschi recognizes soccer as a lesser sport) all of which he will manage and coach for 200 years in amazing, unbeaten seasons.

Or maybe he'll open a restaurant.

Look at how many 90's Cowboys that are currently involved in sports media today. It's natural that the networks and ESPN want winners breaking down the games on your TV's. There's going to be quite a few Pats who go to the booth or the sportsdesk after retirement. Vrabel is already doing it for the drafts with ESPN.

I think he'd be good behind the mic. I was wondering about the same question with Troy Brown. I really hope he remains a part of the organization.

Don't forget that he's an accomplished saxaphone player (he's performed with the Boston Pops) and could have a good second career as a musician.

With young children and hopefully financial security, I think he'd be less inclined to uproot his family and move 2000+ miles to ASU than stay with an organization in which he's highly valued and could easily transition into coaching or broadcasting.....
