Local guy from Milton; played at BC. Five years with Houston and one with Arizona. Has two starts in six seasons.

That brings the roster up to 90 once again (for now).

Pats bring Tim Bulman back home | ProFootballTalk

The Patriots have signed veteran defensive lineman Tim Bulman to a one-year deal, according to a source with knowledge of the transaction. Bulman, a native of Milton, Massachusetts who played at Boston College, spent five seasons with the Texans and one with the Cardinals.

He has experience in both 4-3 and 3-4 defenses, which is a good thing since the Pats use 3-4 and 4-3 fronts interchangeably.

Re: Pats sign former Texans DT Tim Bulman

He's going to beat out Wilfork for a roster spot. You heard it here first.

Apparently he has mostly played LDE, where the Pats already have Ninkovich, Bequette and Cunningham. He has also played some RDE (Scott and Jones). At first I thought they were going to use him at DT since Pryor is on PUP, but he seems too light to be used there (6-4, 281).

Houston Texans: Tim Bulman

With the signing of Tim Bulman, it would appear as if our defense is returning to dominance.
