OT: Haynesworth Finished?

he was finished a couple of years ago........just a twitching corpse

He was finished the second Dan Snyder threw all that money at him. We all knew when he got traded here last year it was a "see if there is anything left" move, and there wasn't.

He has been FINISHED for years, IMHO.

I don't totally disagree with you, but I think there were enough people thinking it'd be a little more than that, myself included. I was very happy with the signing, as I envisioned Haynesworth and Wilfork destroying the middle of defenses and allowing Mayo and Spikes to run crazy. He talked about wanting to be here all along and I just felt he'd return to form. And based on what I read on this very board, I don't think I was in the minority. I'm not going to say it was an overwhelming majority, but I think to say that a great many of us was not excited with the signing would be a gross underestimation.

Is Haynesworth finished?

The Chinese guy who owns a buffet asked the same question when it was closing time and Albert was the only customer left.

I think the only chance he has of getting one more chance is if Jeff Fisher comes calling. He is the only guy who got him to play hard with limited drama (I said limited, not no drama). If I was Haynesworth, I wouldn't wait by the phone. I think every other team in the league wouldn't touch him if he paid them what Washington paid him to play.

I think he said to Albert " You be here too long , you go home now."
