I know there are a lot of WR coming out but I don't want to spend a 1st on one and I don't think the Pats will after CJ last year.
If we can get a Good veteran for 2/3 yrs we can address LB/DB this year.
We owe Brady just one good receiver to throw to deep!

Drew Bennett is available. That's about it.

^kevin curtis..very fast

Bennett will demand money and hes not as good as people think..doesnt use his size to advantage and drops a lot.

Kevin Curtis is Ram's #guy..fast. great story..walked on @ Utah..led team in receptions freshman season i think

so hard worker/great speed/good hands.

id give ihm a shot..cheaper than Bennet + more upside to be a very good WR

I guess you are correct. I found this online, not much
Wonder if this changes our draft picks?

Top FA WR's...

1. Drew Bennett Tennessee
2. Mike Furrey Detroit
3. Donte Stallworth Philadelphia
4. Kevin Curtis St. Louis
5. Ashley Lelie Atlanta
6. Alvis Whitted Oakland
7. Bobby Wade Tennessee
8. Travis Taylor Minnesota
9. Shaun McDonald St. Louis
10. Eric Moulds Houston

Me thinks you can disregard nr. 9.

personally id want

Stallworth
Lelie
Curtis

speed. i dont really want more possesion WRs..i want a big play guy as a 1-2-3 WR.

Travis Taylor is a WR from Florida so yeah..look out

I liked Curtis coming out of college. I think he would be a good fit.

curtis..stallworth..?
i feel like the eagles will keep him though.

i think bennett would be worthless....
please no lelie (im positive we wont)
dont know much about the others...i think taylor is the most likely just cuz of the florida thing

Furrey has had a surprisingly strong year with the Lions, posting 1000 yards, and had a good day against us.

There continue to be pretty strong rumours that Meshawn will become available, but given that these are predicated on the fact that he doesn't want to partipate in training camp with a new OC in Carolina, it's hardly likely that he'd want to move here.

dont forget about bobby engram!

Bobby Wade isn't walking through that door folks and if he does Rodney Harrison will sweep the leg.

Welker is an FA and with Brown near the end I wouldn't mind stealing him from the fins.

Which of these would you pay $6M a year? The top fa receivers will get that and more, as they did last year.

i would give Stallworth most out of all

hes extremely fast and had agood year but he was injured a lot..thats my concern. hes always had some type of injury each year but Deion was fragile aswell and we wanted him here.

Curtis is a bit risky..a 3rd WR in a usually pass happy offense when Martz was there got his #s up so im not sure i would pay a lot for him

Lelie would make a good slot but he might want more cash than we would give a slot WR while hes mostly a deep threat

lelie is offically a bust... the guy has all hte talent in the world and isnt motivated to use it... no thanks..

stallworth would be a good pickup i like him if the price is right ...my feeling is that we would rather sign asante graham and tbc first....

TBC and Asante ARE A MUST

we have nothing behind them..with Bruschi possibly retiring, we need TBC to stay at least so we dont rebuild half our LB crew

behind asante, we dont have anything really..i wouldnt be comfortable with Hobbs/Scott as starters for a year and a rookie cant fill the void for Asante in a year

Graham is someone i really want to resign..hes a team guy..hard worker..great blocker and underrated receiver but hes going to get money somewhere..best FA TE with Gonzalez resigned. and if Graham leaves..i wouldnt be as worried at TE as i would if TBC or Asante left because we have depth at TE. No TE is as good as blocker as Graham but you cant resign everyone

Yeah, I wanna get Furrey (wait, that sounds weird, lol).

The only one I really like is Stallworth -- because BB has raved about him. And as with all FAs, the $$$ has to be right.

We know the Pats will sign a FA (we always do). But at what position?

I would have paid Stallworth $6M a year this year (long before offering the same to Branch, who we did offer $6M a year). I would do it again in a flash.

And yes, I too like to have Bobby Engram.

Personally, I think that we need to do better than Gabriel in the trade or free agency market. One for two isn't bad. Caldwell was a a good pickup. The year before we were zero for two bringing in Davis and Terrell. We also brought in Dwight as a returner. Of course, he was a better receiver than the two receivers we brought in. We tried for Mason, and failed.
