Damn Summerall was really getting bad here, stuttering on every line. Was this his last broadcast game??

Nope. He's still calls games every now and then. He was in the booth for this year's Cotton Bowl.

Man, watching these Rams being introduced one by one brings back memories of a bygone era.

"Choosing to come out as a team..." - words that changed the world. Here they come!

I know this happened 5 years ago, but I still get chills when we come out as a team.

Hell yea, I think everyone knew we were going to win after that one. Makes teams look stupid now if they go through the individual intros.

Ok yea, but how about NFL games?

I think he stayed on for another year doing low key games for FOX. Madden moved on to ABC for MNF. Brian Baldinger was Summerall's partner that year I think.

I just flipped over in time to see us introduced as a team - I have a huge grin on my face freakin' 6 years later :)

Getting pumped for Sunday...

Summerall might have been on his last legs, but just for the history of it, I was and am still grateful he called the game.

I saw that too - awesome - tough to watch, though, because it just reminds me how damn important it is that we win this week.

Me too. It was his last game with Madden. A good way to go out no doubt.

Larry Izzo looked alot like Troy Brown 5 years ago.

Yeah, it's funny that he was wearing his jersey too. He must be a fan of Troy's.
