...that's Pardon the Interruption to those that don't watch that annoying show. And, the two annoyers, Wilbon and Kornheiser thought it was a good idea because "the Patriots do play rough". What they were ball washing Polian about of course was his getting it out there in advance that the Patriots DBs will be roughing up the precious Colts receivers. WTF do they think, that this is badminton or chess? Polian is the worst ***** of an owner I have ever seen in my lifetime, and that's a long time.

he isn't the owner. i think we should just play a fair game and there will be nothing to talk about. no late hits, pass interferences, fake injuries. lets just play the game within the rules and they will have nothing to cry about

I stand corrected, GM, but he's still the worst whiner executive in history in any sport. This is like a baseball GM saying it's unfair for Randy Johnson or Roger Clemens to be brushing back his hitters at the plate, or a basketball guy warning in advance of the NBA finals that a particular team might be making hard fouls on his players. That's why we have refs and umpires. Polian is an A-hole to be trying to influence refs in advance, which Kornheiser said he thought would happen now. He should keep his mouth shut and let his players play. And oh by the way, I'd bet the Colts players themselves feel something akin to their Mommy telling everybody in the neighborhood that there are bullies that are going to beat them up. :nono:

it's just like i said. if we just play within the rules, there are no arguments. our players are good enough to not have to do that anyhow.

You know what? It was a good idea for him to do it if it does get the refs to call the game differently because he made a fuss. He is still a whiny baby, but if it give his team an edge I see how it was a stupid thing to do.

I hate Polian and what he does to the game by trying to distort it anyway to help his team and not the overall league. But if his whines get the refs to call ticky-tack calls on the Pats, he did his job.

he is a crybaby, and why he does not get more heat for the shortcommings of this team is beyond me

Fine, but there are things like pride and integrity. Doesn't he care about these at all?

Never said he had pride or integrity. This is a guy who cheats to get his Colts to win and raises a stink to the league whenever someone else does the same thing he does. He only cares about his Colts winning even if it means breaking every rule in the book.

What did they say exactly?

He knows his team can't ever beat us without complaining. The illegal contact rule never would have been emphasized if it weren't for his sour grapes after getting embarassed by our DBs.

with all due respect scooter--I relish the application of a properly timed unnecessary roughness--see the Tennessee game for reference

additionally, a pass interference that saves a sure TD is a GOOD penalty to take

fake injuries? Willie's move in that game WON the game--I would want him to do it again EVERY TIME

screw Polian--he should consider getting a job in the feminine hygiene industry

I'm not sticking up for Polian, but I recall hearing that they were looking at reinforcing this rule again before the Polian complaints.

Polian is the biggest a-hole owner that has every lived.....what he is already trying to do is get the refs on "his side" for the upcoming game to help him win....the guy is pathetic.....but watch out for it.....the refs will be a big player in this game for Indy........no doubt

Someone said it earlier in this thread and I will repeat it Polian is not the owner Irsay is the owner thats like calling Mr. Kraft a GM.

Oh come on, I can't be the only one that smells a "Tony Collins" type here, can I? :D

I'm trying to be a kindler gentler saprophyte in 2007.

Ask me again after a few bourbons... :woohoo:

Wilbon hates the Patriots. He mentioned on how he was screaming at his TV for Schottenheimer to kick the field goal instead of going for it on 4th and 11.

Phuck the fatass Walrus.

He isn't worth listening to.

Why would you want to hear what an idiot has to say?

Just because it's on ESPN????

Propaganda BS is all it is.

It's obvious that most all of the media is against the mighty PATS.
