The Red Sox are playing?

What is wrong is a double posted article on the subject by an apparently annonymous author appearing on the football forum...:bricks:

What's wrong with the Red Sox is a terrible manager, a terrible front office, and petty, vindictive ownership who nobody from the players to the coaching to the FO even remotely trusts. They're the anti-Patriots.

The front page of the football forum currently has threads on it with a last posting date of 7/2/2012. It's now 7/6/2012.

Somehow, I don't think a baseball post is more of a problem than threads about license plates, or Sanchez' dating life or the Steve DeOssie thread (which should have been locked long ago) in this current time span.

I'd rather watch Sanchez screw Longoria than Valentine screw the Red Sox. ;)

the players are a bunch of crybabies. i can't believe david ortiz is whining about getting paid more than double anyone else that plays his position. The ownership needs to dump him.

but i really think the ownership needs to dump salary any way possible, because i think they want to sell the team, and there are just too many crappy players with massive contracts for anyone to want to buy the team right now.

Fine. How do you feel about me starting a thread about the Wayland Ladies' Auxiliary Croquet Team? Is that OK too?

I have no trouble offending fans of the Bankofamericasox: GO AWAY! This is a football forum. That is all.

There are a huge proportion of Sox fans on this board…I don't know a whole lot about croquet.
How about Ray Allen talk half of what he could have had to stay with the Celtics to go to the Heat?

No. You and everyone else is better off learning about croquet. I've already started the thread.

Interesting that his problems with Rondo became a big factor, according to Wojnarowski.

That storyline is quite interesting. Ray is not much beyond a spot up shooter at this point - why dislike a backcourt mate who rarely shoots and only works to create for inside looks or kicks out for open shots?
I think being a backup for Avery Bradley did not help the cause…nor did the Celtics not accepting Ray's initial salary proposal. At least we have Jason Terry for some reliable outside shooting.

Re: What Is, And Isn?t, Wrong With The Red Sox

it's pretty simple. just look at their disabled list.

Crawfords rehab on hold.

I'm all for salary dump right now.

and I'm all for getting what they can for Beckett (i'd imagine a large postion of the remaining contract will have to be paid).

No dice K contract, No Jenks Contract, No Youk Contract, maybe no Papi contract in 2013.

There should be some available cash to bring in a no.1, just as long as they don't repeat the Lackey mistake/disaster.

This is the picture of today's 2nd baseman Pedro Ciriaco from here ...

Pedro Ciriaco Stats - Boston Red Sox - ESPN

This is how low we have sunk ... we have a AAA roster out there today.
Daniel Nava is actually a seasoned veteran today ... WTF.
so anyways ... no pics with Pedro in a Red Sox hat ... ... what a zoo how low can we go.
