Super Bowl XLVII walk out music

After Mike Dragosavich sung that song at Larryoke a few years ago, he got cut the next day.

LOL I remember that. I'll never forget Ghostkowski doing Ice Ice Baby and Cassel/Welker/2 others did "The Right stuff"

It's raining men if my personal preference.

Dude. Ellie QB. Bad enough that your middle sentence actually made me want to throw my cat across the room, but referring to the Super Bowl as "the big dance"? Really? The big (f'n) dance??!!

The only dancing I ever want to see a Manning do is on SNL, alright? Got it?

Ah...sorry for the cold reception man. Ellie brings out the worst in me.

Please god, erase these pictures from my memory (at least the 2nd one).

If they walk away with the Lombardi in SB XLVII, than this team can walk out to a Michael Bolton tune and I won't give a damn :).
I admit it, I'm a Michael Bolton fan! I celebrate the guy's entire collection! For my money it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman"!

As a Giants fan I would love to see another superbowl rematch between the Patriots and Giants. The past two games easily provided the most memorable sporting moments in my life. I think both the Patriots and Giants have a great chance to make it back to the big dance this year.

Welcome to the Board. We have a long history of welcoming OP's who keep it polite and make intelligent comments but of rapidly ignoring or banning the rest. It's up to you.

I live in NYC and generally have respect for Giants fans (in marked contrast to Jets fans who tend to be behavior-, IQ- and personality-challenged).

I take the simple view that when a team beats you twice in a season, especially when it makes the plays to win the SB (Manningham) when you don't (Safety on the First Play from Scrimmage and Welker miss), that all you can do is say "Congratulations" and then shut up until the next time you meet because you really don't have anything else to say.

As to who will get back to the SB or not, Vegas seems to like the Packers and Pats, but the Giants have now proven twice that the team that gets hot at the right time can beat the odds. In other words, I have no idea.

People are being way too arrogant talking about the Pats in the SB, not just this thread. Spoiled fans that the haters like to talk about. I know some will say you are just being optimistic fans, what do you want us to do say we will lose, but that is to miss the point on the way to stupidville.

Cranky today I guess usually I just let it slide

Does anyone here ever hear the song "In the Air Tonight" without immediately thinking of the SNOW BOWL?

They should use THAT as a Super Bowl intro song, especially the lyric "I've been waiting for this moment for all my life".

Not your typical 'hype' song as it's slow and low beat, but still gives me chills thinking of the Snow Bowl association.

The Patriots made the SB last season.

The Patriots clearly upgraded their offense in the offseason with the WR signings, assuming TB's game doesn't fall off of a cliff.

The Patriots defense was putrid last season, and is not likely to be equally bad this season.

The Patriots were the favorites to win the 2013 SB even as far back as January:

The Patriots are still the favorites to win the 2013 SB:

Given the above, it seems reasonable to consider the Patriots the favorites to get back to the Super Bowl again, and to post with that in mind, while remembering that a lot can happen in 6+ months, and that anything can happen in a given game.

I don't care if they walk in to the Dora the Explorer theme song as long as they walk out to We are the Champions.

Maybe we are a little arrogant but I would argue that while we may be a spoiled fan base right now I don't think that has anything to do we the SB prediction arrogance. We were in the Super Bowl last year so it is reasonable to predict that we will be back again back in the mid 90s after Drew's run to the SB I felt like we would be back several times (stupidly ignoring the Parcells drama). Clearly this team seems much more equiped to return than Drew's (stable coaching staff, better QB, adding pieces (Lloyd) instead of subtracting (Curtis), and more youth.

I know it's a stupid thread, but hey, its the off season. I just think it would be cool if the walkout music was by an actual player on the team.

It would be cool if this thread walked out of the main forum page

Here's a thread that would be better than this one:

Title: Titans week 1

Body of text: I hope we win.

Trolls of opposing teams would LOVE this thread.

I just realized I dislike many Patriots fans for the same reason so many other fans do. I think some of the pink hat wearing crowd has made its way into patsfans.

Geez you guys are harsh on the threadmakers. At least it's not another Spygate/Tyree/Welker-drop thread where just having to read the title on the main page makes you want to stab someone.

Glad to hear it.

This board needs more Ladies.

...and that a 9--7 team can get hot in January, make a few plays and walk off with the Bling.

I thought the choice to play 'Crazy Rain' at the Super Bowl was embarrassing. I hated it.
