Colts confident of solving Brady...

Nick Harper must be a genuine moron.

Most of the Colts have been exactly what they should be - respectful of us as we have been of them.

I love that.

They are stupid.

I would have rather he not said it, but given that SD game, he is not too far off target.

You mean the SD game in which Brady led them back from an 8 point deficit in the last 6 minutes?

Peyton hasn't been his normal self the last two weeks, you don't see any Pats saying he's ripe for the picking.

It's all beside the point, Harper's an idiot for giving them any bulletin board material, and the SD game should've proven that.

I don't want to register - can you paste the general gyst?
thanks!

The juiciest quote:

"He will throw you some," Colts cornerback Nick Harper said. "No quarterback is perfect. If you have great coverage, sometimes he tends to throw the ball into coverage. I guess he feels like all his receivers are better than the defensive backs. He will throw the ball into coverage. We watched the New England game. He threw a lot of balls to the opposing team, but they didn't catch them."

I really don't see what is so untrue or enflamitory about that statement.

I am talking about that game. The 54 mintues leading up to that finish were less than stellar. If that DB just knocks the ball down or goes to the ground after the pick, the game is likely over and Brady's 3 picks would be the headline, not the come back. That being said, once again, I think it's just dumb that Harper would say anything at all this week.

I can't remember a playoff in recent times where none of the QBs were playing at a high level heading towards the Super Bowl. Brees is playing better than the rest, but he still isn't outstanding. And when you take into account that two of the four are Brady and Manning it makes it even more odd.

I'm sure Brady loves hearing how the opposing team thinks that TOM BRADY feels about things

If he is so bad and throwing into coverages then why did Brady go like 160 something passes without an INT before he was picked sunday?

Must be alot of bad catching and bad covering defensive backs in the league then-especially the previous 160+ throws,Right Nick Harper?

Yeah, I can't imagine Brady and his WRs taking offense to the suggestion that 'he thinks his receivers are better than the defensive backs'. The implied meaning being that his receivers are NOT better than the defensive backs at getting the ball that Brady throws to them.

Nothing there to offend anyone. I am sure that Brady and his boys think that the Colts defensive backs are going to be better than his WRs at catching Brady's passes and all.

I doubt the Pats will find any way to be pissed about that quote.

And of course, I doubt that Marvin Harrison and Manning think they will be better than Samuels at catching Manning's passes.

well samuel could say the same about manning's performance but hasnt so far...
that aside ..what your/other colts fans thoughts on all the stuff which bill polian is saying when your team is actually playing well ? dont you think he should STFU ?

It doesn't surprise us that you wouldn't see - but you will !

We all have tuned him out by now. Heck, if all the attention is focused on Polian, then it frees the players up a bit to just concentrate on the game.

I think you are grasping a bit if you think he is implying that his receivers aren't better. Nearly every QB thinks their receivers are better than the DBs. And most DBs think they can cover nearly every receiver. Players with no confidence don't last long in the NFL.

Correction...he WAS playing...

Confident eh, did they sign Jayson Taylor or something?

I love that.

They are stupid.

I couldn't agreee more, keep it coming, there should be more motivation this year...."their receivers are second rate". "Brady is hurt", "their linebacking core are getting old", "they have the 'sorriest' corners in the league", "they have a rookie kicker"....keep it up, please keep it up....
