Not really much to it almost anywhere you sit will get you a closer look at the players than you get in the stadium. I usually show up a little early so I can a seat in the back row of the bleachers so I can lean against the fence backing as they are bench seats. This also allows me good sightlines to the far field where the D usually works. I shoot for midfield and I say midfield and not the 50 because the field is not 100 yards.
The last session is the autograph session and about 10 minutes before this session you will notice the kids start lining up at the front of each section to wait for the players. So when you see them make there move go with em so your kid has a chance. The players are great at spending a good amount of time signing but still doesnt guarentee you one. I dont really autograph hunt but a friend brought his kid once and he got one so its not that tough.
They have some concessions around (stadium prices) but you are allowed to bring your own food and water thought I wouldnt bring any huge cooler or anything like that. Pretty sure its non-alcoholic but I am not a drinker so I could be wrong.
They set up the Patriot Experience for the kids which is basically just a bunch of moonwalks set up to simulate some football things.
Parkings not bad and traffic is the same as most non-game days.
If weather is bad they will take it inside and you cant go in with them.
First 30-45 min of practice is strecthing, warmups, and then they really get going so you can come a little late and skip that if you prefer but obviously it is slightly haarder to find seats but I find they are still there if you look with the exception of the first few which are always more crowded.
