Oh boy looking to go for the first time --on vacation the next week hope they have some days for that week available to the public. :biggrin2:

I can't wait for some actual football talk on the radio. Even Sirius NFL radio really has to strain for NFL related content this time of the year.

As long as the talk isn't about Patriot walking wounded I'm fine with it

One month from today- hell yeah.

This has got to be the slowest month of the sports year. Especially when the only team left playing is the most unlikable Sox team of the past decade-plus.

:rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

SBB will be attending again as usual. Can't wait. Took off the 26th and 27th and the whole following week though some of that will be spent down the Cape.

I have a better smart phone this year too so live posts will be easier.

31 days, I think, the countdown begins.. cannot ever get enough of training camp..

You might have to move to Pittsburg because the 2 lame radio stations in Boston don't talk about football until September (and when they do start talking its not worth listening because they don't know wtf they are talking about).

Actually Felger did some football today. 98.5 usually does a decent amount of football since they broadcast the games and it is really the strengths of Felger, Zo, and Gresh.

Considering the Red Sox may be out of the Pennant race by mid August, I think there will be plenty of Patriots talk this summer on both stations.

why does it have to be radio? The PFW guys on the main Patriots website have their radio podcasts 2-3 times a weeks all year long and it's better than any other radio show I've listened to, but that's just my opinion.

You answered your own question. I work 5-6 days a week depending on my workload. You are talking about 4-6 hours of podcast a week.

Oh man, I'm itchin for camp already. I can't wait. I'm somewhat disappointed that it starts on the 26th. I have the July 28th- August 12th off of work. Hmmm, maybe I'll be able to make some changes to get the 26th off.

You "old "pros at training camp are going to have to give me some pointers on where to go so my son and I get have the ultimate training camp experience. Pretty Please ;)

Not really much to it almost anywhere you sit will get you a closer look at the players than you get in the stadium. I usually show up a little early so I can a seat in the back row of the bleachers so I can lean against the fence backing as they are bench seats. This also allows me good sightlines to the far field where the D usually works. I shoot for midfield and I say midfield and not the 50 because the field is not 100 yards.

The last session is the autograph session and about 10 minutes before this session you will notice the kids start lining up at the front of each section to wait for the players. So when you see them make there move go with em so your kid has a chance. The players are great at spending a good amount of time signing but still doesnt guarentee you one. I dont really autograph hunt but a friend brought his kid once and he got one so its not that tough.

They have some concessions around (stadium prices) but you are allowed to bring your own food and water thought I wouldnt bring any huge cooler or anything like that. Pretty sure its non-alcoholic but I am not a drinker so I could be wrong.

They set up the Patriot Experience for the kids which is basically just a bunch of moonwalks set up to simulate some football things.

Parkings not bad and traffic is the same as most non-game days.

If weather is bad they will take it inside and you cant go in with them.

First 30-45 min of practice is strecthing, warmups, and then they really get going so you can come a little late and skip that if you prefer but obviously it is slightly haarder to find seats but I find they are still there if you look with the exception of the first few which are always more crowded.

Hope that helps. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Well, I just turned 30 and I still collect autographs. All my collecting is for me. I've never sold anything, but I feel like I get branded with those people that just send there stuff straight to ebay.

That's always a big pain in the ass for me, especially when there are guys hobbling around or missing altogether due to injury in the first few days of camp.

My Pat's stuff will never go to ebay as long as I'm alive --my basement is what we call the "shrine rooms" and anybody who comes over whether it be kids or adults know not to touch my stuff :) ( a little obsessive I know ;) )
