OT: Muhammad Wilkerson's car overturns

Having heard of Wilkerson being charged, the Bengals are furiously at work trying to trade for him.

How did it overturn ?

after he struck a Toyota Siena with his 2011 Dodge Challenger, according to the police report. Police responded after being notified of the accident at 4:29 a.m. on Saturday.

Sounds innocent enough ...

And not a single **** was given.

Jumping to conclusions, we are?

The guy got in a car accident at 4:30am, I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't at least give him a DUI field test, and if he'd failed that then we'd be hearing about it.

Yeah, he's a Jet and all, but how about we all just be glad that no one was seriously injured and get on with our lives rather than assuming a bunch of stuff that doesn't have any bearing in reality.

4:29 AM

Wow, he woke up early!

;)

1000 Jet fans have concluded that either Wilkerson was on the way to the Gym and that Toyota had attacked him for no reason, or that the entire affair is nothing more than another media conspiracy against the Jets. In a side note, Jets HC stated that Wilkerson was one of the top drivers in the NFL, and had "dominated" the driving aspect in the Jets OTA's.

There's no reason to go off the deep end like that. Social responsibility, emotional maturity, and rational perspective have no place in a conversation about the Jets, particularly here.

I bet Jest fans are saying BB did it!

Spying on the teams idiots!

the only way we'll ever know the REAL story is when Ray Ray 19 tells us...until then it's all homeristic, pom pom waving hearsay....

LOL, no conclusions or assumptions (at least not by me).

Just innuendo. ;)

No one flips a car at 4am and only gets charged with "careless driving and failure to maintain his lane" and doesn't get a DUI charge unless his case is pretty damn clean. The usual cause for this charge is falling asleep at the wheel or checking a phone or something. Sounds lame, but the facts don't currently suggest something worse.

Isn't he a devout Muslim? As in doesn't drink or do drugs or anything at all?

I hate the Jets, but I'll await the details first.

Probably all valid points. Also valid is the OP's point that Welker's not actually doing something for which he was not actually arrested seems to have gotten more attention in some NY Media. That's the context here, the way I see it.
