That experiment was doomed to failure. He finished the season with all kinds of mechanical difficulties. He still has mechanical difficulties ... otherwise what you said.

it was a sarcastic comment. they aren't really trying to screw him up but they have anyway by bouncing him around. if bard was pushing to start they should have said no your our set up man. bard didnt want to go to pawtucket either but the team sent him anyway because they are supposed to decide not the player. bard was in a role he did well and they should have just let him be. he was one of the best bull pen pitchers in the league last year. and now hes in pawtucket because of there starter experiment.
