Could not be happier that Mr Classy never got to play in a Superbowl.

So long, LaClassian! :singing:

What a shame!

Yes he was good, but he was a MASSIVE douche!

Edelman taking him out last year during a prime time beat down of the Jets on their field was pure awesome.

no SB for him...it's a good day

One of the few players in the league that i can truly say i'm happy about not getting a championship ring.

I, for one, am sorry to hear this news. I really appreciated his influence as a mentor to young Jets players, teaching them to sulk and to blame others for their problems.

x2

hope he doesn't become an analyst.

$20 says he gets a job on the NFL Network to join the rest of the Patriot haters. I always remember him sitting on the bench during the 07 AFC title game while Philip Rivers was out there playing on a messed up knee.

If I have to watch Faulk and Tomlinson work together on the NFL Network? :bricks:

My favorite part about his career was when he got annihilated by Shaun Ellis in last years first Jets-Pats game. Nothing pleased me more than watching one of our guys hit him so hard that his entire head turned around.

OH NOES!!!!

who will the league turn to for "class" now????

Is Joey Porter still playing???

Its almost sad that Tomlinson had to be a jerk and an A-Hole off the field because in his heyday he was one of the greats.

During the height of his career there was no better all around back in the game and every defense had to plan around defending the run when it came to playing the Chargers.

I am not going to say I wish the best for LT in his post career endeavors because I simply don't think he is a nice guy,but he will make it to Canton.

you mean when one of their guys hit him so hard that his head turned around?

He's easily in the HOF.

I think the hardest part for LT retiring is that he never got to stay with SD for those 9 straight wins against the Patriots.
