Vegas Line Indy by 3

Keith Schleiden:New England
Mike Holbrook:Indy
Dan Arkush:Indy
Neil Warner:New England
Trent Modglin:New England
Eric Edholm:Indy
Mike Wilkening:New England
Chris Neubauer:New England
Court Mann:Indy

PFW Consensus:New England

Please note, I'm not really sure all of these guys are predicting a Patriots win, they may just be predicting they cover the spread (which would suck, for example, losing by 1 or 2).

Boomer picked us last week too... the only one, i forget what network hes on to be honest but all the other guys picked SD. i think he has a mancrush on brady

Sean Salisbury- Colts
John Clayton- Colts

IDGITZ!

ESPN
Schlereth: Colts
Clayton: Colts
Sallisbury AKA The Penis: Colts
Hoge: Colts (actually, I'm not sure about this but he hates the Pats so you figure he goes with Indy)
Pasquereli the Donut Fiend: Colts

Can we get a sticky on this? Anyone?

I don't care anymore. I've completely given up on all of the "Expert Picks" because they almost always pick against the Pats in these big games, and what happens? Hell, almost all of them picked the Jags to win, as well as the Titans to pull off the upset.

Kind of offtopic, but I've seen this on a messageboard somewhere, but for the last four weeks the Pats have been ending people's seasons (Jags, Titans, Jets, and Chargers). Maybe I'm sadistic, but I love stuff like that especially with the way some of those teams and their fans have acted in the process. Let's hope they do the same this weekend.

I'm predicting at least one of these yahoos sheds tears if the Colts fall. Most likely: Clayton. Manning's Ball Washer in Chief.

rate this five stars and QB 12 update this when members add names for the list. :)

Thats as good as stickied.

I am looking forward to Inside the NFL tonight on HBO.

Any guesses on who Marino will pick?

I predict all but Costas pick the Colts. Carter is one of the biggest Pats haters out there. Collinsworth and Marino are idiots.

I say it'll be a cleen sweep for the Colts.

We will find out soon. Marino MIGHT pick the Pats since he will still have company in the no rings club. He is an idiot though.

The phrase "expert picks" is misleading. These guys aren't experts, and I suspect almost all of them would readily admit they are not experts, they are just guys who are lucky enough to get paid to talk about football. People like to hear picks so they have to make them.

What's far more significant is their rationale, which I then take and decide on my own how important it is. A simple "Colts/Patriots" listing means little.

************, haven't we been here before??

I truly think that ALL media types hate Bill Belichick.

The BB/EM incident after the Jets win doesn't help any either.

Oh well... phuck the media.

Yep, they are just like all those "experts" who swore up and down that Ohio State was going to take Florida to the woodshed in the BCS Championship Game, and we all know how that turned out (just the opposite). You have many "experts" with so much egg on their faces with that one, they will be eating omelets for the next month.

i pray collinsworth picks the colts..last time he was all over the pats and how tom brady was the player of the game before ti was played and jinxed us

come to think of it...is the media fawing worst or was it worst when the colts came to foxboro in 2004 when law was out and seymour was out...

Marshall Faulk picked the Colts (naturally since he hates the Pats) and Rod Woodson picked the Patriots.

I agree. But I think what drives me nuts is their rationale. For instance, the newly minted Steel Curtain Indy D shutting down two average offenses.

Then Schefter on NFL network saying there's no way we could contain Juice and Phillips from San Diego because they were the best pass rushing tandem in recent history.

Then, he goes into his shell game this week with his new mantra that there's no way we can contain Mathis and Freeney because they're the best. Which is it?
