Yes. I know. This is a C's forum and most of you probably don't care about the Finals, but some of you have a rooting interest in this match-up. On top of that, it should be an entertaining series. So I figured screw it. At least this gives me a place to rant when the Heat lose a game and gives you guys a chance to talk smack to me when it happens

Game 1 is tonight at 9 PM. I think the Heat will take this one because of rust with OKC and the advantage of experience on this stage. What say you?

Thunder doesn't lose at home. Their crowd will be going nuts. Thunder.

Yeah but this isn't going to be the first berserk crowd that the Heat have seen. But this will be the best defense the Thunder has seen in the playoffs. If they come out rusty, as I suspect they will, Heat take Game 1.

OKC in 5 or 6...can't decide

Then we can all point and laugh at lebron..again

Let's go OKC! Beat the Heat and send James home without a ring!

Serious question...is lebron not allowed to foul?..and if he does..has he ever walked away and not talked to the refs after every foul?

This isn't a LeBron thing but an NBA thing. The players complain far too much on the floor.

but even players who complain a lot like ronod or pierce..they have fouls where they just walk away..i have not seen that ONCE from james..i have from wade and bosh..but not him

Hate to say it but the Celtics hardened the Heat ... we made them better. :(:bricks:

Where's Delonte West when we need him.

Would love to see an automatic "T" for questioning foul calls rule .. it's way overdue.

I think the refs would do a better job if they were less annoyed.

I don't think so. Battier and Chalmers are going off..when they usually don't.

Would be about 30 T's a game

I just don't know this season. It's as clear as Obama's birth certificate that the officials for Game 1 of the Finals are calling ticky tacky fouls. I can see why the players are complaining.

I thought they did a great job in the first half of letting both teams play. This half has been an absolute abomination.

First half seemed like everyone was feeling themselves out Kontra, players and officials. The second half, as you rightly point out has been poorly officiated.

Especially the LeBron 3 steps to the basket all game.

Durant got away with a good amount of that too, Icy. Need to do a better job of trapping Westbrook in Game 2 and keeping him out of the lane. Durant will get his and I say let him. Contain Westbrook and do to him what you did in the first half and you maximize your chances of winning.

Also, nice to see the return of Lebron ****ting his pants in the 4th. For a man playing like he'll have no regrets, he certainly has a lot to regret about the final quarter.

C'mon Icy, you know that's legal. ;)

Interesting that game 1 went the way I thought it would. The Thunder has too much offense for the Heat to defend. Westbrook looks like he's going to destroy Miami. His dribble penetration was first class. Once Miami's role player scoring dried up, their offense became anaemic.

June 28, 2007 must be a dark, dark day for Portland execs.
