I'm not talking about Canton.

Should Randy Moss be in the Patriot's HOF? My own feeling is Canton, Yes; Foxborough, no.

What say you?

Yes he broke records and helped the team go 16-0, but he was only here for 3 seasons!

maybe if he had not left in such a bad way. He acted the opposite of what is sought - skills diminished but still selfish. When he was traded most fans were happy. In 20 years when no one remembers how it ended and only looks at the numbers maybe.

Nope.

Moss = Canton HOF

Troy Brown = Patriots HOF

I don't think numbers should have any bearing on the Patriots version of the Hall of Fame.

I enjoyed Moss as a Patriot for a couple of seasons, but I don't think "Patriot" when I see him.

I think he was a huge part of a story that should be captured for the PHoF and belongs in the building. It's not a GOAT barn, afterall. It's a place for people to learn about our team. For a short time, he was an important part of that team.

The story of each memorable season will be in there. Tommy will be the narrator for 2007, thanks.

Moss and Dillon both had a moment here. A better case can be made for each to land in Canton eventually than ever be enshrined in Foxboro.

Perhaps the biggest thing Moss has going for him in consideration for the Pats HoF is how high he ranks on the Pats all-time leader board in various categories (receiving yards, receptions, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns, yards from scrimmage).

The problem for him is that it will be a long time before he has a legitimate chance; Bruschi, McGinest, Harrison, Law, Vrabel, Light and Faulk will get in first. By then others will start becoming eligible, such as Seymour, Vinatieri, Wilfork and Mankins. Considering how pass-happy the NFL has become, by the time Moss gets a legitimate shot at the Pats HoF he will likely have slid quite a bit in most if not all of those all-time team rankings.

With each passing year the memories of 2007 will fade, slowly but surely. Eventually people will ask the same questions they do now of Houston Antwine, Julius Adams and Leon Gray: 'if he was so good, why isn't he in the hall already?' That may sound crazy right now, but since it's going to be at least fifteen years before he gets in there is a very good chance that is exactly what some will be saying. He may have to count on a veteran's committee choice to get in, and that happens only once every five years.

No (10 characters)

If you leave on bad terms you should never be in a teams hall.(Seymour,Vinatraitor,Law,Martin,Parcells)

Moss is my 2nd all time favorite Patriot, that is saying alot. But I answered no.

Seymour was traded.
Vinaitieri was a FA
Law was an injured FA
Martin left on bad terms to follow a legend instead of stick with Pete Carroll.
Parcells left on the worst of terms and was very close to getting inducted last year.

Most don't fit your description (unless you think only people who stay for less money than someone else offers them are not pariahs) and the nominating committee disagrees with you on the one who does, and the fans appear at least close to disagreeing with you.

Moss probably wasn't here long enough, which is a shame, because putting up 3800 yards and 47 TDs in three seasons is pretty crazy.

Ummm....Mr. Bledsoe, I am sorry, but we must take back that induction from last year. Our apologies.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. There are too many fans in denial who think Bledsoe was a good teamate while he was attempting to divide the lockerroom and pit coach vs owner in 2001.

I vote yes because he was an integral part of that unbeaten regular season. No chance we would have done it without him.

Bullsheet. You dont need to induct the player to tell the story of that year. What are you going to induct all 53+ guys who were active that year too????

This is a no-brainer. Canton- Yes. Pats HoF-No.

He can get a plaque somewhere for setting the most TDs in a season mark. But a bust and shirt etc etc...... no freakin way. (if he had actually had an impact in the SB, before he got all full of himself you could MAYBE have an argument. But he was Mr. invisble vs the Gints).

Vinadouche never tried to get a counter-offer from the Pats. He went to a team that his fan-base detests without giving NE a chance to counter-offer

Law was a "get paid" jerk who never cared about anything but money

Martin was a "Tuna-sniffer" I am so glad he never won anything. How can you be so loyal to a guy who has no loyalty himself?

Parcells -If I have to tell you why Parcells should be persona non grata then you obviously are not a Pats fan

But remember I never said these players WOULDNT get inducted just that they SHOULDNT
