Does anyone remmember the last time Brady and BB lost to the same team in one year, playoffs included?

I'm going to guess- Denver, last year? But, it will never happen again.

That's the only time it's happened in the Belichick era when the QB was the same for both games.

I hear this "QB was the same" thing a lot, but what difference does the quarerback thing really make. Isn't this just a distinction to get around the fact that BB lost two "second chance" games in his first year here when we weren't very good? I don't think it had much to do with who the quarterback was or wasn't. Anyway, I think these are the "second chance" games during BB's tenure here. I'm not really sure what any of this proves, since there are plenty of games where we've beaten a team early in the year only to be beaten by the team later in the year. Anyway, here the results of games played against opponents that beat us earlier in the year in the BB era:

2000

Jets -- Loss
Dolphins -- Loss
Bills -- Win

2001

Jets -- Win
Dolphins -- Win
Rams -- Win

2002

Dolphins -- Win

2003

Bills -- Win

2004

Steelers -- Win

2005

Broncos -- Loss

2006

Jets -- Win

So it looks like 8-3 to me, or 8-1 if you disregard 2000 or take the QB thing to heart.

Denver, 2005-06. That was too easy, man!

To me it shows the ability of our coaching staff to makes intra-season adjustments vs. the competition. When a team's QB changes, the team's entire offensive dynamics often change, as well.
