If he's got something left, would love to have him back. Wouldn't mind even letting him come off the PUP midseason, more chance he'd be fresh and healthy for the playoffs.
What?If he has something left? The dude had a double digit sack total, is in great shape and showed no signs of slowing down. Granted it's a tough injury, but if anything I'd rather have a DL (ecpsecially a dude with Carter's arms) have an upper body injury then a lower body. Carter should still be just as explosive off the edge, he might not be as strong as last year but he'll recover most of his upper body strength by the time he's back.
If he comes back I think people are way underselling him here. He's going to be a lot more effective than just some backup.
