Now, that is the real LOL. Curran also thinks the story was a dry run for the inevitable. Bedard sounds like he thinks the inevitable is more imminent - just not today imminent.

I would think after mini camp if he hasn't got it Bill will give him a shot at catching on somewhere else. Because there is nothing between mini camp and training camp that would change the situation unless someone slips on the soap. The entire NFL basically goes on vacation for a month before camps open.

Stinko is a long shot to land a roster spot anyway. Cut him loose so he can get a jump start on his next playbook. Welker, Lloyd, Branch, Gaffney and Slater are my locks. Keeping Stinko around is a waste of a locker.
