On ESPN NEWS, sometime between 3 and 6 i guess.

ESPN is ******* gay. They bring all these sore losing pieces of crap into the shows which should be about Patriots/Colts, not LT/Merriman dance "controversy".

Gunna have to watch this one. Merriman lives on the hotlist.

3:20 Eastern, should be interesting to see what he has to say.

Post what he says, I cant bear to see his face yapping on my TV screen. The piece of crap doesnt deserve to have his face shown on TV but ofcourse ESPN lives off of this stuff.

I bet he'll mention next years game, classless, disrespected and revenge. Something like that.

Anyways post what he says so we can make fun of it.

I think he will come on the show and say "We lost to the Pats and got emotional after the loss. I know the PAts respect us and we respect them. Its gonna be a long off season, but I am looking forward to coming back next year and just getting better."

OR maybe that is what ANY member of the Pats would say...;)

Well? It's 3:30, what'd he say?

Seems like the Chargers PR director told him not say anything stupid, because he was about to talk smack about next years game. He said, "Y'know, we will play them again next and we.....well, it is what it is."
A few other notes:
In reference to the celebrations, he said "You just don't do that" and "No one on the Chargers would ever think of doing that."
He picked the Pats to beat the Colts, which is weird because he had just finished saying how the Colts are playing so well and their defense is playing well too. He probably wanted to jinx us like he did the Jets, lol.

Said he understood LT's frustration and thought we shouldn't have acted that way...

Said himself and the rest of the Chargers did all they could have to win the game. Patriots were better and overcame their mistakes from experience to win the game.

Picked Pats to beat Colts, laughed about himself picking Jets over Pats, and said it got him in trouble.

In reference to the celebrations, he said "You just don't do that" and "No one on the Chargers would ever think of doing that."

But.... doesn't he do it everytime he sacks someone? And even sometimes when he -doesn't- get the sack (ala Tom Brady getting knocked down and getting 'the shotgun')?

I guess it's OK if you're the one who invented the dance?

I almost think this whole celebration thing is just a joke. The Chargers are being such hypocrites, it boggles my mind that they can't see that.

Lol, cmon Merriman. "No one on the Chargers would do that".

Think, think! There was a little game that occured in Gillete Stadium, late september/early october vs the Patriots in 2005, remember it?

not sure if anyone listened to pat kirwan on WEEI today... he said he looked up the nfl rulebook and checked out that the merriman dance IS taunting. So they let it go and LT outburst is also a post game frustration thing he doesnt read much into.

Did anyone at ESPN ask him about his comment to punch Brady in his mouth?

Oh wait, that is not disrespectful in the Boltsworld because it was made at a prep rally for their SB in front of 1000 fans whereas the Pats players running into the field after an unbelievable and hard-fought victory on road against the #1 rated team is disrespectful. My bad. I forgot.
