Don't do it Gronk! How can we mock all of the other players/teams who do these stupid shows if you do one? Who watches these things anyway? I hope BB puts the kybosh on it.

I can tell you that unless Bill says no way you will see Gronk on Dancing With The Stars sooner or later.

This kid is the next big name in the next generation of superstar athletes....low profile for this kid will be hard to do,he's got the type of character that Hollywood and the media like.

Sounds like good clean fun to me.

If i cared, I'd be worried about ochocinco pulling a groin muscle doing cartwheels to prevent someone getting more attention than him...but i don't.:bricks:

That's not possible...if Ocho thought he was even taking a back seat in terms of attention to any other Patriot he would step in front of a speeding bus.

Don't try to cheer me up.

He's going to either be absolutely hilarious on this show or come off as a complete idiot. There's a fine line, and it could go either way :lol2:

for ****'s sake...what an attention whore this guy is turning out to be. Probably some deep issue of growing up with a million brothers.

Little of both, I'm guessing.

I agree.

This won't be a popular thought with many, but personally I wish that Gronk would reel it in a bit. He seems to be a little young in some decision making.

At this point it shouldn't be viewed as any big deal, but one could possibly see some potential for poor decision making based on some of his 'younger' and greener choices to this point.

As long as he performs on the field, I'm good with the level that it's at, but I don't want the envelope pushed too much further. Fame and youth can do weird things to some people, especially those who may have a screw or two loose already.

The kid does a ton of charity work which is awesome - and he seems as genuine as it comes. Exposure wise this could be his first national misstep depending on his goals. Appearing on a show like this in and of itself isn't the issue. Being associated with a cast of total B-list celebrity wannabe losers on the other hand...

It's just another opportunity for conquests for The Gronk. I can't imagine this kid doesn't have enough opportunities that throw their panties at him as it is.

oh yeah...
The show should be called 'Who wants to bonk the Gronk?'

LOL

This doesn't bother me. The guy is the best TE in the league and isn't making a commensurate salary. Let him get his money using promos/media. I'm sure BB understands this.

It's one thing to tell a guy like Edleperson to stay out of the media but when it's your stud TE who is represented by Rosenhaus, you make exceptions.

Being repped by Rosenhaus is kind of a catch 22 scenario. He gets deals done here, although usually for clients who have had trouble getting deals elsewhere for a variety of reasons. And he's often complicit in those. He sells a lifestyle that is probably unhealthy for most of his clientele. He lost 14 clients this spring and a couple like TO are suing him for lousy advice and hooking them up with fraudulent financial advisors.

I'm sure he'll be living with the repurcussions of this through the locker room (meaning he'll get teased feriously by the event). At this point, bad press seems to roll off him, but he still has to perform.

The national media will eat him alive if he comes in well below expectations (and that's long after BB has taken him to task). I think he's just having some fun and enjoying the spotlight while it lasts. I have no idea what his decisions making is or what he takes into consideration.

At the end of the day, no crime is being committed and as long as stays clean and does well on the field, I'll want him on my team.

So if you were offered an opportunity to be in a TV show you'd turn it down?

Really, dude, if you need the attention that badly, just go see Brady's hairstylist.

I WAS going to go with "complete idiot", but then I saw the list of the other celebrities appearing.

You only go around once, so grab all the gusto you can...

Have fun, but don't make and azz out of yourself.. he is entitled to his fame.
