I have been reading a lot of different posts on the Colts site and the Patriots site and this last weekend was great! Both the Colts and Patriots were labeled as under dogs and were not given a chance. Boo Hoo San Diego! Boo Hoo Baltimore! San Diego was part of a sneak attack! New England played like they always play, low flying stealth bombers that just sneak up and waste you, just ask my Colts! Baltimore was dumped on in 1984 and again this weekend! If Baltimore hates the Colts so much, how about sending our Super Bowl trophy and history home where it belongs, with the Colts! The Colts horrible defense punched McNair right in the mouth again. Those poor Ravens, maybe they can get a good game of prison ball together.

I am a Colts season ticket holder, have been for years, and I am so much looking forward to being at the game this Sunday! The Colts and Patriots games are always the best games of the year in the playoffs. I still wish that we were both in the same division. Could you imagine that rivalry being twice a year and in the playoffs? I am over thrilled that the game is here in Indy. Don’t be too upset Patriot fans you have seen this game before in person. It’s about time that it came to Indy. The Patriots have had there fame, now I believe it is the Colts’ turn!

Thanks to all Patriots and Colts fans! We love our teams and we are the best fans in the league! Drink some ice cold beer, eat some tailgate garbage and be prepared for the greatest game ever!

I call for a toast to both teams! :eat3:

Go Colts!!! Go AFC!!!

Wow, a non-troll. I don't even how to respond.

Thanks for the kind words. This week will be crazy.

Should be a great game......and loud being in indy. Here's to a game with no injuries and not decided by the refs instead of the players! :eat1:

:yeahthat: :agree:

That was a real bright spot last weekend. The refs let the teams play, and didn't try to decide the games themselves!

Thanks for visiting and a classy post. Knights of the Round Table. Let the tournament begin and may the best man (team) win. See you on Sunday.

Thank you all for letting me post without kicking me out. The rivalry seems to be letting up as far as the fans go (just a little). It might just be early in the week or it seems that the Patriots and Colts fans have finally agreed on one thing: We both have great teams with our full support and the Patriots definitely deserve the respect for the three rings that they own. I do hope and believe that the Colts will pull this one out this year and I have to, I bleed blue and we deserve at least one ring!!! How great would that be to have the Colts and Patriots meet for the next three to four years in the AFCCG? That would be so nice to keep the ravens and chargers pissed at us for years! Man, I cannot wait until Sunday! And I also agree, the refs better not blow this game!

thanks and welcome to the board. unlike a Colts board where some idiot has a hit list of Pats fans so Colts fans can ignore their posts, you'll find that people out here welcome knowledgeable comments on the Patriots (even when we disagree) and football in general.

As to your basic point, that the Colts "deserve" a ring, I disagree...not about the Colts but that any team should or can get a ring because they "deserve" it. the one thing I've learned watching the Patriots these last few seasons, after decades of drought, is that a team "earns" an SB ring. Pro Bowl selections can be "deserved" or "undeserved," Lombardis are earned.

I empathize with you when you say that you feel your team's time has come (God only knows that's how I felt as Vinatieri's kick split the uprights in 2002) and I'd be hard-pressed to say that there's another team whose fans have been frustrated as much as you all have been this decade, but if Peyton & Co. are hoisting the hardware on February 4th, it will be because they earned it. And, after your fine victory over the Ravens, if you beat us on Sunday and then prevail against whomever the NFC coughs up from its murk of mediocrity, I will be the first to agree.

"Deserves has nothing to do with it"- Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven) .

And, your avatar sucks. It shows disrepect for the dead.

Good luck and have fun on Sunday.

Agreed. I meant "earned" not deserved. You have very good points. If the Colts win this game and head into the SB, make sure you all stay with the AFC and cheer for my Colts! If all goes well, the beer will be on me! :eat1:

P.S. I went ahead and changed my avatar, I hope you like it!:)

The avatar is better, but we will never "like" it. If your team prevails, I for one, will not watch or care about the super bowl. Not to offend, but I'd cheer for a Yankees world series before I'd cheer for a Colts super bowl. And thats not happening in this lifetime, either. Sorry, but your team is hated by me more than any team in sports, with the possible exception of those jerks from the Bronx.

But you are a classy poster, and I wont insult your team to you. No injuries!

Gotta keep the AFC as the better conference. Only 1 NFC team has won since 2000.. keep that way. Could you imagine the hype if the Saints made it to the SB? No offense to their fans, but I would PUKE over the ballwashing.

Good luck and I hope for a clean game.. I doubt there would be a need for mocking since the Colts are as nowhere as irritating as the Chargers.. except for Polian.. that guy I despise.

Cheers!

Wow, that is some pretty big hate! Yankees over the Colts? I would have never guessed that the Colts were hated so bad that you would root for the Yankees. Get on a plane Sunday, come on down and I'll help you change your mind about the Colts. Hell, even I hate the Yankees and I'm born and raised in Indy!

Get rid of NaPolian, and Pay-a-ton, and the hate goes away. I always liked your coach when he was in TB.

What happens is that sometimes fans of other teams come over here and post with the express purpose of being obnoxious. When those are the only Colts fans you see, you quickly learn to dislike them.

I never understood how people (including Pats fans) go to another fans site and be rude. (I'm rude as heck to other fans but I do it on my own site. Twisted logic, perhaps, but like Popeye, I am what I am.) Exception: I've found Bills fans and Seahawk fans generally to be nice guests.

Good luck to you, but not too much luck, if you know what I mean. If you do amke it to the superbowl, it is good that will have gotten there over the Pats. I'm glad the Pats and Colts are playing. I never liked backing in to the playoffs or going deeper by palying weak teams. You think you are the best, then welcome playing the best teams. (That said, I'm glad San Diego is behind us. That was too close for comfort.)
