What is our biggest area of weakness, as of today. And although we can't be sure how our draft picks will turn out, I think we can agree that linebacker has been addressed and should improve.

Some potential areas: defensive line, secondary, running backs, o-line (depth at the critical tackle positions).

Which do you think is the biggest liability at this moment?

Defensive coordinator?

Patricia made some bizarre calls last season so hopefully that gets sorted out.

Other than that, probably safety.

1. Safety
2. RBs
3. interior DL

Safety until we see how all the roles shake out. If one or two of our listed CBs makes a successful conversion to S, it could become a position of strength. But for now we're thin.

Defensive line. Aside from Vince, we have nice role players, veteran players, and unsung players like Kyle Love.

But if Vince goes down, we'll rue the day we passed on the premier Dlinemen available at 48. What did Vince play, 86% of the defensive plays? Too much.

I hope Ron Brace finally steps up, but I tend to doubt it.

Those are the two most essential players on this team, Brady and Wolfork. Both irreplaceable.

Kick Returner
O-Line (Solder inexperience, Mankins ACL, Waters age, Vollmer back)
Pass Rush (Carter is ?? and Andesen is gone, news guys are questions marks)

That's like saying if Brady goes down they will rue the day they didn't pick *insert QB prospect of choice*

Taking a safety who could start day one at 48 is better than picking a backup DL there.

Not to mention I'd say the defensive line is one of the strengths of the team this year.

Apples and oranges, my friend.

Just watch what Jerel Worthy is going to do this year. Or Kendall Reyes.

Not sure it is a weakness, but the running game is pretty unproven at this point. RB's, run-blocking, emphasis by OC. I'd really like to see the ability to heavily stress the running game where the opportunity is given.......say the last SB, for instance.
That was the weakest "poison" the Giants offered....and we chose to go with strength against strength instead of taking advantage of what could have been considered an easier path to dominance.

WR...we have no slot guys with no real deep threat

A healthy Gronk and the Patriots win easy by 2-3 scores. With the redundancy and upgrades at WR'the passing attack will over match everyone.

I would still consider safety an area of weakness, followed by 4-3 DT/3-4 DE, followed by tackle.

Even tackle might not be so bad, provided that Light would be willing to come back in the event of an injury. I'd normally include RB, but I just don't really care all that much about RB continuity. They'll sign some veteran to press the young guys when the time is right, and it'll be fine.

If Wilfork goes down, then the extent to which we're screwed wouldn't be significantly lightened by having picked Kendall Reyes.

DT and possibly S if Wilson turns out to be a huge bust. I also don't know what they're doing at KR.

As if there were premier DL available at 48.

You can't even count on a first rounder to jump in day one at make an impact, let alone someone at 48. We could have picked ANY player in this draft at DT and I wouldn't feel comfortable if Wilfork went down, at least not in 2012.
