Report: Shooting At Junior Seau's Oceanside Home - San Diego News Story - KGTV San Diego

Oceanside Police confirmed that something is going on in the area but would not give details other than to say further information is coming.

A witness told 10News that police responded with a large presence at the location at about 10 a.m. and closed the roadway. The witness also told 10News that a gunshot was heard inside Seau's home. 10News has not confirmed reports of the gunshot but we are working to report the latest accurate details on 10News Midday at 11 a.m. and online.

Wow, hopefully not true.

Transition to post-football life has been rocky for Seau.

First there was the domestic violence charge in late 2010, that came after he drove his vehicle off a cliff - and now this.


If true, very sad - and R.I.P.

It has now been confirmed that he is dead. But investigations are underway to figure out if it was suicide or not.

No matter your thoughts on TMZ, they have good sources and are right more often than they are wrong. I'm hoping this is one of the rare cases where they are incorrect.

Looks like he said he goodbyes yesterday to his ex and kids. Might have planned to do it yesterday.
Arghhh, mental healthy is something else. He was the last person I would have suspected to be suffering. He was so always upbeat and preachy.
