- Looking to get younger and deeper on defense? Mission accomplished.

- Great competition at LB, and if Andre Carter comes back, some really good players are going to get cut.

- Based on his draft position, I project Wilson as a starter. But who knows?

- I don't see the weak link on the roster. Maybe OT, which feels a bit thin with Light gone.

- Surprised that Hoyer wasn't dealt today.

Oh no  .... MG alert in 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - he won't be sleeping for 2 days until he figures it out.

Mankins will be starting the year on the PUP more than likely. When camp starts, he'll be 5.5-6 months post op.. For a big man, it's unlikely he'll be ready to start the season.

Don't be surprised to see someone like Wendell dealt/cut in favor of keeping the younger McDonald.

Ebert is likely a PS player unless Edelman is dealt. But Edelman was the Pats best return man for Kicks and Punts last year, allowing the Pats to keep Welker off the punt return unit except very few situations.

I don't see Wilson being a starter this year. I do expect him to get some reps, giving both Chung and Gregory reps. We could also see McCourty or Dowling back there as well.

Mankins, as noted above, opens an Opening Day slot.

Allen could easily fall to a younger guy.

Despite all the other LBs, Koutivides/Tarpinian might make it along with White, especially since some of the other "Big STer" positions look a little think (RB, TE, big S).

OP wheres Kettani? I think he has a legitimate shot and making it into the backfield 5.

I've seen Ebert play a few times. Once in person, and on tv quite a bit. I like their coach Fitzgerald. And, their last two qb's Kafka and Persa(pa kid). Don't sell him short. Edelman will have all he can do to keep his spot. 75 rec 1060yds 11 td. Blackmon's APC was 12.6 and Floyd's was 11.5 this past year. Ebert's APC was 14.1

Bequette should be listed ahead of Cunningham ... it's what Cunningham deserves.

Cunningham has not done anything to earn that spot......

Scribble Barrett out, hes useless.

CB: Mccourty, Arrington, Dowling, Moore, Dennard.

5 CBs aged 26 or below, talented too. I prefer that over keeping Allen.

Aside from Welker, Edelman is the only legitimate punt returner on the roster.

If anything, Deion Branch and Anthony Gonzalez will be sweating it out for a roster spot if Jeremy Ebert, wide receiver from Northwestern, is the real deal.

Bobby Carpenter doesn't play DE does he? Isn't he after the Guyton spot?

I'm always annoyed when I see Moore on the bubble. The guy got us to the Superbowl.

If anything, it is Allen that should be worried.

Also, I'm a little amused that OP assumes so many of our picks will be starters/not on the bubble. White isn't going anywhere.

Trading him for a pick in this draft would've been a terrible move. Wouldn't surprise me if he's traded later this offseason, but for a 2013 pick.

I agree with this. This would also open up a roster spot.

Although it makes you wonder if nobody would give up a 2nd for him this year in a crappy draft year what we could get for him for next year.

At first glance the OT depth is concerning to me as well. But then I realized that we are blessed in that Mankins and Gallery both have experience playing T (albeit not at super high levels but they are at least good enough for mid-game plugins). God bless ver-suh-til-a-teh!

Connolly and McDonald too, worst case scenario. Koppen and Wendell are the only two guys who have much of a chance of making the roster that didn't play left tackle in college.

I'm surprised Cleveland took Weeden (and with a first) when a younger QB with a higher ceiling is sitting 3rd on our depth chart. That shows the ineptitude of some boring thinking.
