Crazy theory cause i am bored

After seeing us take a 7th round talent in the second round and a 2nd round talent in the 7th. I half think ( and it would be hilarious if this was true) that the draft is secret held a week before and that all the picks are for show and that one of the runners screwed up the script and flipped the pick

I know it's not true but hey it's funny and enertaining

I think it's a serious issue of putting too much money in player's hands. A player with possible character flaws doesn't need a few million thrown their way. I think money absolutely factors into it both in terms of maturity.

Ones a high character athlete with questionable football skills. The other is a good football player with a questionable character. Seems like they complement each other well.

You can extend that in a lot of directions too. The maturity to take care of nutrition, good sleep habits, workout discipline, playbook study, commitment to master technique, and on and on.
A players career isw 10% what he is when he is drafted and 90% what he (and his coaching staff) does about it after that.
