Honestly I have no personal issues with anyone here and usually don't even remember peoples user names, but some folks here seem to hold grudges against me for whatever reason and basically troll my threads. Ive never been the type to ever say "I told you so" but since I seem to get a lot of hate here, I just thought I'd remind you.....

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...kansas-jake-bequette-uncs-quinton-coples.html
Looks like Belichick at least agreed that Bequette is better value in the 3rd than Coples is in the 1st (we could've easily traded up if we wanted him). Funny how the Jets draft Coples and we draft Bequette. The same people who were hyping Coples are now calling him "Gholston 2.0" while some ppl who said they had no interest in Bequette are now saying they like the pick. Hilarious.

I basically say the Patriots should trade up and go for impact players since so many of our 2nds ended up as busts. Almost everyone flamed me or said BB would NEVER trade up.... well guess what, we traded up twice. He didn't end up taking Ingram, but I did predict he would do something that almost everyone else said he never would. Looks like I was on the same page as BB again.

Chandler Jones or Andre Branch? I said Jones 100%. Lots of posters didn't "get it" and would rather have Branch. Looks like I was on the same page as Belichick once again.

I was the first to say something positive about Jones here. Everyone else is lost. Now those same people are happy with the draft and have high hopes of Chandler being the next Willie McGinest.

Here I flat out say I want to draft Chandler Jones with our pick. Maybe BB is reading my posts? LOL...

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england.../10/305558-honestly-meriweather-medicore.html
I make a statement saying that Meriweather is mediocre. This was well before he got released. He even made the Pro Bowl that year! I got flamed to hell for this thread... but guess what? I was right.

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/13/335926-jermaine-cunningham-bust.html
I call Cunningham a Bust before his rookie season even starts. Sure, I also said I wanted Jerry Hughes or Brandon Graham on our 34 defense, and they both busted also. But to be fair they both went to 43 teams so who knows how they wouldve turned out in our defense (which was a lot more 34 back then). Anyways...Cunningham has been a total bust so far. Zero Sacks. He's best known for kinda sorta pressuring a Peyton pass in regular season. The fact that Cunningham didn't play at all last year says a lot.... and obviously BB agrees Cunningham is a bust since he just traded up for Jones and Hightower, and even drafted another replacement for Cunningham in the 3rd(Bequette). I won't be surprised if Cunningham is cut before this season starts.

On the opposite end, I say Spikes will be a beast. This post is almost dead on except for the dropping in coverage part (he does have a knack for INTs though). Right again.

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...nvisible-man-ninkovich-worst-starter-nfl.html
I admit I was exaggerating a little, and Ninkovich isn't the worst starter.... BUT in my defense... He was very below average when that thread was made. He hadn't made any sacks or INTs back then, and looked lost at times. He has improved quite a bit since then. But at the end of the day... BB still traded up to get Hightower who will quickly replace Ninkovich and take over his role.

I may go against popular opinion. But Ive consistently been correct in my projections while the people bashing me have been wrong. Can I get a little respect next year when I talk about draft picks?

No it doesn't make up for all your other threads like trade/cut welker or the above ninko is the worst. ;)

Be careful you don't separate your shoulder.

Ninko was really bad back then. he's improved a lot since then, but he's still only average. He won't be a starter next year with Hightower on our team now.

The Trade Welker thing.... that was a personal opinion, not a projection. And if you REALLY want to talk about it... I am sure Belichick has entertained the idea quite a bit. If he were able to get a 1st or 2nd for Welker, he would do it in a heartbeat. The problem is no one would be willing to give up a high pick for a slot receiver. Like it or not, that is the truth.

And Im sure if we dug up your post history, we'd see you don't have the balls to make bold predictions like I do... and you wouldn't nail them right on the head like I have.

I have no problem giving you props. You're an outside the box thinker and I like that. Good job.

I remember those days back in '10. He missed a tackle on lady T in a loss to the rats. As long as we're touting horns i was one of the few that stuck up for him, i didn't think he played that bad, no on can make every tackle. He went on to have a great game against Miami and never looked back.

You did a good job. And, patsderoer did an even better job. He started his Bequette thread 2-10-12. You started your thread 2-29-12. He also praised Derek Wolfe. While the rest of us ripped him. Looks like he may be right. Many of us were wrrrrrrooooooonnnng.

You still don't get it. Ninkovich is barely an average OLB.

If Belichick thought as highly of Ninkovich as you do... Do you think he wouldve just drafted THREE players that will take snaps away from him?

Does your arm hurt? :p

Ninko is a very good OLB now. And Hightower doesn't have the agility to play OLB. He had some of the worst agility numbers among all LBs. 4.6 short shuttle 7.55 3-cone. There were plenty of 300lbs OLs who put up better numbers.

Hightower is good against the run, but he struggles in coverage. His place is in the middle, not on the outside.

Yes, he will. That thread was as silly then as it is now.

You shouldn't take it so personally. 85% of the people are just debating and disagree. That doesn't mean they don't respect your opinion. The other 15% either only care about being right or are Internet heroes who pump up there false ego but putting others down. Just ignore the 15% and embrace the debate. We're all just having fun with this and if we really knew we would be employed.

The Patriots drafted Wilson with Reyes, Still, Worthy and others still on the board. Nobody saw that coming.

Mr.NathanDrake - You weren't the first person to say something nice about Jones. There had been others previously. Including myself in the Board's mock draft.

The idea that Bequette will be better than Coples is just your opinion and certainly not fact. The idea that BB was thinking the way you do is a huge stretch since Coples is going to be a DE for the Jets and not an OLB. Also, Coples was off the board to the Jets before the Pats 1st pick.

Many people said that Spikes would be a beast.. Not sure how that makes you so great..

And your threads on Ninkovich and Welker destroy any sort of credibility you might have had..

Its fine to hype yourself when you are right. Its only natural, But I'd give you more respect if you were as upfront with your mistakes, and your Ninkovich opinion was a wrong as it could be, and you still can't bring yourself to admit it.

Can't give you props since you badly missed on the Travon Wilson pick. Sorry

Self promoting threads for respect belong in the practice squad.

I respected some of your opinions and disagreed with others. Why do you feel the need to gain respect on this board when it is a forum based on interaction and opinions? It's not like you were the best person about showing respect to others when it came to not liking their opinions, posts or players. I really don't understand the point of this thread except that your feelings are hurt that people don't agree with you.

Wait, all of your predictions and analysis aren't even correct. A lot of us on the board said a lot of things the last few months and a lot of us were within a few picks or not far off on evaluating. Get off your high horse, it's not like you predicted what BB was going to do the T. You're Nostradamus as far as I'm concerned.

Also, you clearly know jack **** about Ninkovich (still) or Hightower because Hightower will be an ILB/MLB, not a SLB (except for maybe on 3rd downs when Ninko moves to DE.
