Looks like RB Eric Kettani will be in the mix

Good for him, now he at least gets a chance. Was hurt last training camp. Could be the short yardage/power runner type.

I wondered what became of Kettani. Glad to see the Navy is giving him a chance. Hope he's stayed in shape because he was a banger when he played for Navy. If nothing else he could be good insurance at the position on the PS.

Hard to imagine he got out of shape while serving in the Navy.

agree with andy johnson. He has probably kept in shape being in the Navy. Now he just has to get back into football shape. I remember him looking really good last year. He's a big back and hopefully replaces BJGE at least on a situational basis.

Quite easy, actually. Military physical training is designed to maintain a fitness level of whatever effort you put into it, anything more is all on you.

Not that this is worth much of anything, but here's a photo of Kettani from earlier this month.

Not to say that he is out of shape as he is a football player but you obviously haven't seen the 'real' Navy. When I served, PRT's were twice a year and you had to complete a 1.5 mile run within 13 minutes (this time goes up as you get older), and I can't remember exactly but something like 60 pushups in 2 minutes, and 40-60 situps in 2 minutes.

Not exactly daunting... Typical Navy personnel look nothing like they are portrayed in the movies or TV. There are fat boy clubs...

I assume that he is the one with the Pats shirt on under the hospital gown? :)

As far as I'm concerned, this guy just earned himself a spot:

It sounds as if BB put his reputation on the line to say "This young man will probably make it in the NFL."

That means we have THREE FBs in camp who obviously are NFL players.

I think we're keeping an FB this year. :)

I guess everybody could be cut, with Kettani starting on the PS, but the base case is that there will indeed be a FB on the opening roster, which suggests there will only be 4 RBs, which suggests Faulk is shadow-roster only.

Almost same as air force 13min run 33 pushups 42 sits ups one min each. Some of those guys you gotta wonder how they pass the test lol.
