Chad Reuter's 7 round mock...

Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, at 27
Kendall Reyes, DT, at 31
Janoris Jenkins, CB, at 48
Lamar Miller, RB, at 62
Ryan Broles, WR, at 93
Markelle Martin, S, at 126

what does everyone think? I'd be thrilled...

I'd be pretty happy. Upshaw is my favorite player in this draft and I think Jenkins at that spot is a risk i'm willing to take.

Saw that and thought it's sort of best case. Very exciting potential to improve the team.

Better at DL, LB, and secondary.
Explosive RB corps.
Broles set the NCAA receptions record before tearing his ACL, and managed 39 TD's.
Even the last pick in this draft is a big upgrade at FS and would compete for serious playing time.

Yeah, this is fairly awesome. But not a single trade?

This is a pretty sweet draft. I keep coming back to Jenkins being selected in the second as well if he's there. Thats outstanding value.

Dryheat44 - where's that Uncle Heater's mock (what exactly was that title?) you used to post? Did I miss it? Is it my imagination or haven't you been posting that much lately? Of course, once a thread goes past 3 pages I don't scan all the posters, let alone read every post. Either way, Mr. Raoul Duke, enjoy the draft.

I'm into this one besides Jenkins. I still wouldn't touch that guy before the 4th.

Getting both Upshaw and Reyes would be huge for the front seven.

Eh, I pretty much took the year off from scouting. Every post I make takes space way from the better prepared.

That would be a nasty draft haul for value alone. If Jenkins stays out of trouble it could be one of our best ever..........given the drafted play to their talent-level

Hell i'd do cart-wheels around my house, lol

Jenkins must be thrilled to play here. We just changed the the law for the stonners.

I love this draft. the only question I have is Miller. Assuming we add Grant or Hightower, I don't see the need for another RB, especially since we are keeping at least one FB this season.

Remarkably I'm OK with Broyles who we can draft and put on IR late in TC and not overly muddle and an already muddled WR battle. Let him be 100% healthy for 2013 So do it exactly has he has it, and trade the 62 for a 2nd next season, and too would be doing cartwheels

I'm happy with it, but I'd like to see us get a pick in the 5th and grab one of Bequette or Ngwezi as a project guy though.

That's too funny.........i'm sure someone will call it a conspiracy so that he could come here and steer clear of local law-enforcement, LOL

Seriously, if he plays like he's capable of, he can toke "til the cows come home" as long as he doesn't fail any of the league's mandatory tests and his child-count doesn't approach Cromartie's legendary status:eek:
