Thats basically what this whole controversy comes down to. And because of this, LT has to cry about it and every media outlet in the country is obsessed over it.

"They showed no class and maybe that comes from the head coach."

Are you f*cking kidding me? What does one player fake dancing at midfield after the game have to do with the Patriots' "class"... or Bill Belichick?

Here's some advice, maybe next time you beat someone 42-17, your players won't be yelling "F*ck New England and their fans" and "The was an ***** whooping" when you leave the field. Because the Patriots don't forget and unlike LT, they don't whine to the media about how classless someone is. They keep it all in house and use it as motivation for the next time they play you.

Maybe LT should just clean the sand out of his vagina and take his loss like a man.

oh it was only one player? then yeah LT overreacted, especially given what you say our guys did in NE last season

It's about time somebody started a thread on this!!

LT said:

LT shows no intelligence and after yesterday I'm pretty sure that comes from the head coach. :rocker:

Watch a replay of the game and you will see the "classy" LT pouting and acting sullen during the entire game. He acted as if playing the Pats was beneath him or something. Very odd behavior. The pressure of the game simply got to LT, both during the game and after the game. And the shot of Rivers acting surprised that the kicker had missed a 56 yarder--again very odd behavior.

It's well too much to say that the pressure got to LT, except maybe with his reaction at the end. He was as dominant as any Chargers fan could hope, and if every Charger played as well as he had it would have been a far different game. I think his reaction was one of frustration, but that's understandable; this could easily have been his best chance at a SuperBowl he'll ever receive and he had it screwed up by monstrous mental errors from the rest of his team, and as unfair as it is to react so poorly, I'd rather that than do the whole Peyton Manning "My team around me could have played better" routine, even if it would be true in this case.

Vrabel too:

Some people aren't buy LT's whinning.
I heard Deion Sanders lay into him today on NFL network
basically asked Mariucci if he could coach LT up a little then said
LT you're NOT upset because of the Mirriman dance .
... you're upset because you lost
... your're upset because .... (insert any thing he might be upset about)

several things ... in other words he was crying about his loss.
and Deion has never been a big PATs fan that I can remember.

Here is Troy Brown doing the Lights Out dance on his way into the locker room. You can hear Antwaan Spaawn yelling Lights Out too

That is awesome!! I do not blame these guys AT ALL. Any of these jerks that are crying about it never played in competitive sports or they would understand. THese guys kept their mouths shut all week and finally blew. Good for them. "FUCCKK The Chargers and FUCCKK thier fans"!!!

To be fair Colvin was pretty vocal as well. So that is Hobbs, Vrabel, Brown, and Colvin. 4 out of 53.

Celebrating is part of the game now. Even as a young kid playing pick up games everyone celebrated. Sure it hurts, but get over it. Like Deion said on the NFL network, LT should be saying why he's really mad.

LT was hot over the loss and showed he hates losing as much as Brady does. His tirade reminds me of Bradys comments about Shottenheimer after last years game. I remember most thinking Brady was way offbase.

LT was upset in the 2nd half because he wasn't helping his team, not because he was sulking. For whatever reason, the ball was taken out of his hands in the 2nd half, luckily for the Pats.

Cut LT some slack. He's a great player and, as far as I know, as nice a guy as he'e shown to be. He gets a total pass from me.

edit: To quote Paul Perillo from FSNE, the Pats can be 'poor winners'. I hated it when Rodney, Vrabel & others imitated TO in the SB, and hated the 'lights out' crap yesterday. I'm real glad they avoid that stuff for most of the year, but it would be nice if they avoided it completely. I know that will never happen, given the nature and the emotions of the game.

On the way to the locker room? You've got to be kidding me. Now we're judging players' "class" by how they celebrate in the tunnel on the way to their own locker.

I have a very serious question for you Chargers fans: Is this working? Is this consoling you or making you feel better about the loss? Really, this is a very serious question.

It seems like a very strange tactic to me. I don't know that it would make me feel better if the patriots had lost and the chargers had danced all over the field yesterday. I think maybe I could have found some distraction in it for 24 hours, but really now.

Hobbs had a great game after those boobs focused on targeting him as the "Weakest link" in our pass defense. I'd have done a little lights out dance as well. Shove the MVP trophy up your ass LT. And lets fed-ex Merriman a Matt Light jersey that he can wear while he watches the playoffs on his couch.
