now on espnews.com..asked after these incidents this week and what happened last week with the cameraman last week is 'the rose off BB's bloom' responded saying i dont know if it ever was there..maybe for people in new england but from people afar...then he went on about the mangini handshake

I think it's very telling that when they won the Superbowl they carried the defensive coordinator off the field.

i have no problems with people having an opinion but just a personal grudge because of BB's image because of handshake's and what not's is bothersome ..but then BB doesnt grant sound bytes or interviews so they dont really care about talking -ve about him...they need the players who are ready to give an interview etc..
unfortunately BB's image for whatever reason , the handshakes, the camerman. the celebration has taken a hit

I guess so....but I have to say (and I'm not usually a paranoid sort about these things) some of the posters here have commented on jealousy being behind a lot of it....and I kind of agree. Face it, the Patriots are the team of this decade, easily, and they keep winning in often the most maddening ways. They also somehow keep making off with other teams' draft picks. It's got to kind of get to everyone after awhile, LOL.

Exactly, what a hypocrite. Ditka's press conferences were always entertaining as he would beat up on journalists for asking a question. That shove by BB was nothing compared to the verbal assault that Ditka would engage in, not one time, not a few times, but in many of his press conferences. If anyone could pull one up on the Tube it would be very entertaining.

Quite the opposite, BB values his reputation above all else. As he said in a Steve Sabol interview once, all you have in this life is your name and the reputation that goes along with it. Now, he doesn't concern himself about the roller-coaster ride of the media, but he does care about his long-term reputation.
